Gold Metallic Black Silk Evening Cape
This magnificent Art Deco gold metallic black silk evening cape dates from the 1920s. It is made of a heavy black silk fabric with gold metallic threads woven through it in a decorative star burst design. There is a brown fur collar backed in the black silk fabric with snaps sewn underneath for either wearing down or flipped up for a dramatic effect. The inside is fully lined in a gold silk fabric with two pockets and a "Kurzman Fifth Avenue & 36th St. New York" label. There is a fabric covered button at the neck for closure with gathers around the neck and shoulders. This exquisite evening cape measures 50 inches long and is 60 inches in circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition.

This Art Deco vintage silver lamé evening cape cloak dates from the 1920s. It is made of a silver metallic silk lamé fabric with a circular scale design. There is mint green silk fabric trim around the neck, front opening, bottom hem and inside lining. This fabulous floor length evening cape style cloak has a open front with no closure. It is fully lined with straps sewn inside for wearing on the arms. There is a "Original Model by Doris Reid New York" label sewn inside. The cape measures 40 inches long, 20 inches across the shoulders, and 55 inches in circumference. It is in excellent clean wearable condition and is a great piece of wearable art.

It is made of a black silk crepe and satin fabric, with black silk soutache work in a swirling circular design done along the bottom half. This fabulous full floor length cape style cloak has a fold over collar lapel, with a satin trimmed front opening, and no closure or arm holes. It is fully lined in black silk. The cape measures 45 inches long, with a 26 inch neck, and 66 inch bottom circumference. This elegant evening cloak is in good wearable condition, with only some faint age spotting discoloration on the front satin trim and collar. It has not been cleaned. This is a great piece of Art Deco wearable art.
