C 1920s This sapphire blue silk velvet dress has a matching sleeveless jacket. The bodice is ivory floral lace set on ivory silk chiffon with an understructure of ivory cotton lawn. The cotton lawn understructure is attached at shoulder and back neck seams. The long slender velvet sleeves are attached to the bodice and have two pleats at the elbows. The lace and chiffon bodice join the ruched pleated skirt at the drop waist beneath a self blue velvet sash belt with cut steel buckle. The first set of ruching is placed five inched below the drop waist seam. There are four rows of ruching that creates narrow pleats that are held in place by the second band of ruching. The skirt falls in gentle pleating below the second band of ruching. On the right side in the second band of ruching there is a two inch length of thread that has come undone in one line of the ruching. Also slight crushing of the velvet at the underarm.

Lavender Silk Chiffon Beaded Evening Gown
C.1920s A really beautiful evening gown in lavender silk chiffon with silver beading and silk satin pink slip with new ribbon shoulder straps. The gown is heavily beaded as can be seen in the photos. There is very, very little bead lose that I have been able to discover. No repairs, armcyes are also without blemish. The color is between a lilac and lavender. There is gathering at the dropped waist, not much but enough to delineate the waistline.

Circa 1920/1930's Vintage Black Dress
This vintage black dress is made of a light weight taffeta type material. It has a "V" neckline and is sleeveless. The bodice is simple and falls straight to the drop waistline. The drop waist begins with a small piping, followed by about 1" of gathering. The skirt is full and consists of two layers. The top layer comes to above the knee in the front and gradually drops in the back. The bottom layer falls below the knee and is almost floor length in the back. The dress has a side snap closure which begins at the armhole and continues through the waistline. The upper portion of the underskirt is done in black net to give the skirt some body. A large red bow accents the waistline on one side (the bow has faded in areas and is splitting in a few places - I would recommend replacing it with a new one).

Vintage 1922 Lavender Beaded Gown
This beautiful vintage beaded gown dates to 1922 and is just breathtaking! The gown is lavender in color and is literally covered with frosted beads and crystals. Unfortunately, my photos cannot do the gown and beading justice. The evening gown is made of lavender chiffon and has a foundation of goldtone lame and white silk. The gown is floor length and has a straight neckline in the front and a rounded neckline in the back. The goldtone lame foundation begins right above the bustline, leaving the top portion of the bodice sheer chiffon. The gown is sleeveless with deep cut armholes, allowing the lame foundation to show. Beaded fringe outlines the entire armhole. The gown has a drop waistline with an attached beaded "belt". The skirt falls straight to the floor with a long panel on each side which is decorated with beaded fringe. The entire gown is heavily beaded. The beading is a combination of large and small frosted beads and crystal beads creating both large and small designs. The gown is well made with an incredible number of snaps and hook/eyes to close the gown. The gown has a white underbodice which has a front hook/eye closure. Next comes the gold lame foundation. This closes with snaps. The actual dress has snaps along the side, around the waistline and into the skirt. There are also snaps on one shoulder (this shoulder does have damage and needs repair and reinforcing).

1920's very attractive dress has brightly colored flowers of pink, turquoise, light blue and yellow and brown on a pale pink chiffon background. An area of smocking just below waist and full flared lower area of the skirt. It is straight cut to the flounce (36-36-36 and 14 across shoulders, 46" long). The back (I can't tell which is the back or front, they are both so pretty) has a scarf-like attached that has handkerchief type of short sleeves in front. The original pink silk slip is attached to the dress with straps of the dress fabric. The chiffon fabric appears to be in very good and wearable condition, also the slip.

1920's burgundy satin loose fit dressy dress. Ties around neck, multiple covered buttons down the front and 5 on the lower sleeve. Two-toned effect in back and on the overskirt which is open from hips downward and fits loosely in front from hipline to hemline. This loosely fitting overskirt would move when walking. Very good condition. The attached tie at neckline has a beige satin lining and there is some damage at the back of the neck on this lining which can be easily concealed with the maroon satin on the reverse side.

Late 'teens, early 20"s dress for day or evening. This medium blue and beige net has square neck, short sleeves. The bodice and sleeves trimmed with narrow ruffles that also cascade down both sides of the overskirt, which is open in front to reveal a chiffon underdress embellished with gold color metallic fringes. The fringe peeks thru the net overskirt all around. The bodice has a net lining, also the chiffon underdress.34" bust, 28" natural waist, 30" long waist, 49" long. The dress is in good and wearable condition, but has a few issues. There are a couple of small holes in the net on both shoulders, but they aren't vey noticeable due to the net lining under them. The chiffon underskirt has some small scattered holes and some holes on the surface beige net above ruffles at hemline. Label: "Franklin Simon & Co. Fifth Ave., NY".

1920s Glass Micro Bead Long Necklace
Beads are strung on string and then tied to a string core so this missing section won’t make the rest come apart. Tiny beads are about 1-2mm. Beads are glass; cylindrical in shape and a true cherry red. No fastenings.

1920's Black Silk Flapper Dress
Here's a stunning black vintage dress from the 20's. Jet black silk velvet with beaded details on the shoulders. Very hard to find 20's dresses in this condition. Metal snaps on one side. The fit is very drapey.
