2003 Academy Awards

I forgot Juliane Moore and Renee. They also both looked great. Nice too see Julianne in a color aside from black and white.

Also I hated Jennifer Conelly's Calvin Klein blazer over dress. I mean it was too simple and was expecting something to beat her Balenciaga last year, which was fabulous.

Other people who looked good: Marcia Gay Harden (in Eric Gaskins and Calista Flockhart and Salma Hayek.

Diane Lane was also divine that night.

I liked her Balenciaga last year, too. I also liked her Calvin Klein this year. She's was pregnant so I'm sure she wanted to be comfortable. I actually think she looks better than 90% of the presenters there.

I just thought the whole hed-to-toe black was just too . Annoying. I mean just because your pregnant doesn't mean you have too look bad.

I thought, too, she would look so much beter in these. Left, Behnaz Sarafpour Fall '03 and Giorgio Armani Fall '03.

Head-to-toe black annoying? That's part of Jennifer's (and mine) style. I thought she looked great, esp. better than Catherine Zeta-Jones.

I don't really see Jennifer in Behnaz Sarafpour. She's more of a Helmut Lang and Narciso Rodriguez kind of woman. She's a little bit more polished than that. Plus, with her being pregnant and all, the one-shouldered Armani would have looked very odd on her body.

I'm glad you were bored texastess! I like seeing dresses I havent seen in awhile. Jlo, Halle, Julianne and Renee looked fab. But Kate was the best. Her Versace dress is quite possibly the best red carpet dress I've ever seen. It looked perfect on her.
