A British actress from the 1950s, Diana's autobiography details her ups and downs, and the turmoil of her romantic life - she had a taste for rascals, charmers and gypsies, and was often parted from her money and her children. A TV movie was made of the book - The Blonde Bombshell - starring Keely Hawes and Amanda Redman, although this documentary about her life and death is probably more dramatic.
