Mirren is the best dressed by far, I was interested when I heard Cate was wearing McQueen but I too hoped that it would be one of the dramatic fall pieces. This falls flat for me.

The rest of the dresses look so overwrought...Longoria and Rai look like they're in wearable wedding cakes. Too much frou frou for me, Hayek looks alright I supppose, nothing to write home about though.

I don't understand comments like this. So what if it's a three year old dress and Rhianna wore it before. It doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a beautiful dress and this woman looks great in it.

Kate Beckinsale looks the exact same everywhere she goes. No matter what designer or style her dress is, she always manages to make it look like a generic clump of Marchesa.

Cate Blanchett looks absolutely amazing. I was also expecting her to wear one of the other pieces from McQueen, but I do think the one she chose was the perfect choice. A very nice surprise.

Peng Lin also looks lovely. The rest is quite nice but nothing special.
