A Bag For Your Books - School Bag Recommendations

So what makes it post-modern? The fact that it's black on black or the fact that they used Arial font?

hm.. read through the topic and thought- hey North Face! My small messanger cost maybe $50 and has help up so well. Mine's black and has the North Face logo on the front. They really do hold up well.. maybe you could look into them

The fact it exists I imagine...

:woot: I like it. And I like the price even more! Hey, plain is good. When you need something to wear everyday and it needs to match everything and anything, sleek and minimalistic is the way to go! :P Is it sort of rigid? I am very petite so I am wondering how would that sort of shape look on me..
If you're petite I would suggest the bag be no more than 14" wide. Anything bigger than that will look too big on you

Get an Hermes Amazonia garden party tote. They are fabulous. They are actually made from this special rubber that is almost like leather. I think they are around 1500? Hope this helped.

....15 grand....That's oh, what, a year's worth of tuition fee, plus or minus a few grand? That's peanuts! :innocent:

Yeah, I'm sure that has helped tremendously.

I don't know if this helps, but I would do is go to ebags.com, and just browse through the messenger section. They have Jack Spades if you like the minimalist look , or Timbuk2 Paris/Travel Icon bags if you like something more cutesy. The prices aren't that bad ~$80ish, and they have customer reviews too! I hope this helps! :flower:

Hmm.. maybe too small?

I was trying on this bag at the store today, it is beautiful! Not for school though, but still beautiful! [/b][/quote]
that looks like the thing the SA's at LV have to wear (maybe B can clear this up?). Well at least the store in Banff. I wouldn't want to where something they give SA's to wear for free (well while they work there at least).

i got the cutest fruit print tote. it was cheap & soo cutee.
i love it. i know it's not very 'classic' though. haha

umm. the site's in japanese but it has cute pictures. ha

mehg: That Tambourin bag is too big for a SA to wear, and its sort of supposed to hang to the side so it would get in the way of their working. I think the SAs mostly wear the Pochette Florentine, if anything

Oh some of those are nice, perfect for summer. I like the patterned ones more than the ones with wording though

SA = Shop Assistant? (unsure as, being LV, they may be called something OTT like Store Arbiters) :P
