non platinum nadja was around in 1991 she got the elle UK october 1991 cover so she is allowed but she wasn't high profile yet. kate was not on the radar i think she was used by the face in 1991 i don't know a kate expert would confirm this, but she wasn't on the international runway circuit for sure plus her look wasn't in yet. if we do year 1992 next she can be allowed but year 1991 glamazon only.

OMG,thats the 1st thing I thought,but than I figured since Cin was on tv but not totally removed from the scene at the time and Claudia the blond look it would be I guess more commerical for me as an editor. Oh wait did I just type that 'Oh,no I'm starting to think like Anna' jokes.

true, i hope someone gets on the case and gets all three for a legendary cover, it could happen if it does most likely US or UK vogue. Kate not a realistic choice for a US Vogue in 1991. her beauty was still developing she looked very young, she needs till 1992 to look groomed and vogue cover ready but even then late 1992 her status had to keep on rising.

January = The Trinity (Linda, Christy, and Naomi). Starting off the year by showcasing Linda's new blonde look, and because the three of them had appeared in the "Freedom 90" video just a few months prior.
February = Helena
March = Angie Everhart, because her red-haired look was just right for spring.
April = Nadege, Karen, and Yasmin Le Bon. The spring couture issue.
May = Shana
June = Blonde Linda again.
July = Yasmeen. I picture Yasmeen in an editorial wearing a lot of swimsuits.
August = Cindy, because she had an athletic look that was appropriate for summer.
September = Red-haired Linda (She actually was on the cover that month, and it featured her famous "Scottish" editorial. I wouldn't change a thing!).
October = Claudia Mason. The Fall Couture issue.
November = Susan, because something about her look reminds me of Autumn.
December = Angelika

I think Vogue Italy is still edgy,yet cool enough to do it as well...actually I'd see them doing it first. Hell Meisel whats going on over there man,jokes?! You're right about Kate I mean it was hard for her in the US in '93 so for it to be 2 years earlier I'm not seeing it.
