I love this Australian brand and simply adore the packaging.
Please share some reviews, recommendations, experiences or questions etc.

My personal favourite is their Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm:heart:

i love the Primrose facial cleansing masque. and also the Mandarin Face Cream (for night). the bars of soap are heaven.

never heard of this brand before, don't think we have it in Sweden.

If you read intothegloss there are a lot of people in the industry that use and recommend it!

The new Aesop frags suck but there used to be one called Workplace Revitalizing, or some such thing. It was clementine, sandalwood and vanilla. TDF! It came in a rollerball- perfect for stashing in a deskdrawer or pocket for a pick-me-up on the fly.

Anyone here using their Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream? I'm looking for a good moistrurizer and it seemed good in their description but I've read so many mixed reviews. Some say it does wonders, others say it smells far too strong and had bad effects on their skin.

i've used it in the past. loved the feel of it, but if you have even the slightest chance of getting oily, this will definitely exacerbate that . the smell is gorgeous, imo. also - depends where you live. if you're in Paris, Thefrenchy, then i would think that the density of this cream, coupled with the environmental stressors in the air there could easily bring out an oily shine. but - if you're somewhere north, where the air is more dry and less humid, AND your skin is more on the normal-dry side, then yes. this is awesome. definitely test it first, though. just to make sure you're not gonna get a reaction to any of the natural ingredients.

I don't use the Mandarin one but I use the Primose Facial Hydrating Cream which sinks into the skin easily and is lightweight but still moisturising depending on your skin, mine is normal and depending on weather combination to dry.

Probably best to get samples, so far I've come across friendly customer service at Aesop and they're more than happy to do hand some out.

Thank you, guys!

I'll probably try to get my hands on a sample, but judging by what happycanadian said it probably won't suit me. My skin is more on the oily side and I'm moving to Paris in a month...

Mrsjamesdean, I'll try to see if this one seems more appropriate, thanks!

Really curious about the parsley seed range, any opinions?

I've used the parsley seed face cleanser but it was a little heavy for my combination skin.

The parsley seed serum, however, is brilliant.

Love Aesop. Have only ever tried samples though. And solg I'm curious about their parsley seed range as well. I've only ever heard good things. Especially about the oil.

I'm going to pick up the lip balm for a good friend of mine who loves the brand. I'll find any excuse to pop into one of their stores. All very well designed.

I ended up buying the Parsley Seed cleanser. A few days after using it, I got some brake outs... I wonder if this made me brake out because I also started using some other new products. Please say it isn't so!
Anyone else tried it?

^ i haven't used that particular cleanser but all the aesop products i have used have broken me out. i feel they are far too heavily fragranced, particularly the moisturiser (the one with orange something in it). the only thing that has worked for me is the deep cleansing mask, which is suprising because i have dry skin so cleansing masques usually are to drying for me. after using it i have gotten the occassional spot, but in general my skin feels clearer, and the spot that comes is one i can feel already brewing.

^Ugh, I wanted to like it, and the fact that is rather expensive doesn't help either if doesn't work for me. I'm still giving it a try.
The smell on their products that I asked if they added fragrance to them and they told me it's just the ingredients that makes them smell so strong.

I really like Aesop, tried the Aesop Fabulous Face Oil for quite a while now and I highly recommend it. Its very nice before I go to bed, smells soo good and it's not greasy at all. Also it is so gorgeous for your display in your bathroom.
