Finally!

I bought it today! It smells fantastic!!!

I LOVE L'Occitane, but the closest one is 3 hours away I am in love with the shea butter hand cream, it makes your hands amazingly soft. It's so addicting.

^ I hear ya, to get to the nearest store requires a ferry ride plus a lot of driving You can order from their website though (that's what I did) and they give you a bunch of free samples too which is nice.
I'm loving the brightening cleanser, it's really made my skin look even and clear. It faded almost all of my little red scars some zits left behind. Very impressed.

^I have to go back and edit this....while at first I totally was in love with the brightening cleanser I'm about halfway through the bottle and my face has gone haywire! After the first 2 weeks I noticed that I was getting lots of little blackheads, but kept using the cleanser and now my face has starting breaking out pretty bad. I think that the cleanser isn't cleaning my skin deep enough and getting all the dirt and makeup etc that builds up through the day.
This is super annoying considering that I spent so much money on it
I'm happy with the calming serum but have to start using a different brand cleanser.

I'm obsessed with their scents!! I have peculiar taste when it comes to scents (arab) so if you're not into overwhelming smells skip this entry:

1. Amber (the best smelling amber ever!!! Most my friends love pure amber we get in arabian perfume shops here while i dont, but L'occitane's amber roxx!)
2. Frankinsense & Myrrh (love love love!!!!!!)
3. MY FAV EVER ALWAYS IN MY HANDBAG: Notre Flore Neroli- addictive & not like anything i've ever smelt anywhere else before. very sweet and heavy.

any suggestions for face masks?

My favorite for all skin types is the Olive Express Radiance Mask. It has olive which brings out the natural radiance in skin. Oliver water is softening to skin. The green and white clay act as a purifier and removes deep dirt and exfoliate skin without scrubing.

I dont know if it will be in stores for much longer. The olive face line is being revamped and the new one is a moisturizing face mask without clay. Have not tried it.

L'Occitane has discontinued my ALL-TIME FAVORITE face wash (Olive Daily Face Cleanser) and so I bought up quite a few of the travel sizes they had in stock, but I am still miffed. Does anyone happen to know how the newer olive-based products compare to the stuff I've been using?

^ i think it's the honey water fragrance?
it's alcohol free so it literally smells like honey in water (iv only tried it once about two years ago, and thats all i could remember)

The honey one has been discontinued. The new one is a Shea Gentle Water Spray.

Its very fresh and pleasant....

It has notes of butter cookies, mimosas, I believe lemons, grass, etc.

It smells like eating cookies laying in the park with just washed fresh powdery smelling clothes.

Its nice on pets too. I spray the dogs with it. Mum in laws dogs are smelly.


The honey I dont think you can find even in the outlet. But it was very nice too.

Has anyone tried the Olive Face Scrub Mud? It sounds really good, but I haven't used any L'Occitane products before!

The best scrub they have. The olive scrub will not last long. The entire olive face line has been revamped and that will disappear. Eventually I think they will make a new version, but not sure.


The scrub has clay in it so I love sitting it on my face for a few minutes and it feels cooling as its purifying the pores. Its a very thorough scrub, but it is not harsh. I just feel soft and clean after using it.

I bought the first product picture shown, I hope it doesn't leave my skin white. I bought the aveeno sunscreen and it made me ashy. What doe an after-sun balm do?

^ After Sun is to restore your skin after long sun exposure. Sun takes out so much nutrients and dries out the skin along with the beach and sand or pool chlorine. Its also to soothe skin if its irritated and sunburnt. Also to prolong your tan its good to use a nutrient rich lotion like that to keep it nice and golden.

It only makes your skin white for a few seconds, if you rub it in well it will definitely disappear and it gives a little shimmer to your skin i've noticed but it's a really good sunscreen overall.
