Kenya’s supermodel Ajuma Nasenyana will be scouting for this year’s Ford Supermodel in a competition that made her who she is now.
Ajuma who has since relocated back into the country with her fiancé Gustav and baby Elliot has been appointed the regional scout for this year’s supermodel search.
Ajuma was the first ever black model to win a Sh 4m ($50,000) contract in an international competition that was not aimed solely at promoting black models and was signed with the worlds top modelling agencies in New York, Paris, Milan, London, Spain, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Dublin, Stockholm and Cape Town.
Lyndsey McIntyre the Surazuri’s founder who has partnered with Michelle Shepherd of Habari Consulting in organising the scouting and the event launched the search. This year, Grace Makosewe of Nairobi VIP Parties joins them.
If you are a Kenyan female with the dream of being a super model, ages of 14 years - 21 years with a minimum height of 5’8’ and a maximum hip size is 37, make an appointment with the casting team when they hit up your town.
