The Model Agency (Channel 4)

i'm usually not able to download the new episode until like 2 in the morning two days later.

Absolutely loved episode six! I have feeling that the documentary isn't painting India in the best light, though, which is unfortunate. The good news is that since the show stopped filming (blanked in case anyone wants to wait to find out next week,) she's returned to modelling and the Testino option might still be open, but we'll see!

I'm growing to like the bookers more and more as the weeks go on, especially the Canadian manager of new faces and Aidan. Leomie is really beautiful and her attitude seems to be very impressive from what the documentary is showing. I wonder who Carol was talking about in the preview for next week's episode?

i didn't like annie much at first but now i really do!

The only thing that puts me off is the way she talks , she does seem genuinly interested in her models.I would love to see more of Christophe .

If you can't wait till Wednesday to see the last episode it's now available to view on the Channel 4 site. I've just watched it but I'm wishing I hadn't as now I've got nothing to look forward to! I've really been hooked on the series and am sad to see it finish.

yes i'm waiting until tomorrow to watch it. i will be sad when it's over i think it will be repeated :P

Good news about India :flower:. I actually think her decision as portrayed on the show was completely understandable. She mentioned wanting just to do teenage activities without worrying about self-image expectations; we mustn't forget, the ARE just kids. She seems to have more of a choice as to her involvement in the industry (as in financial pressures), and there is nothing wrong with wanting a healthy, normal life.

The agents seem understanding of her decision on a personal level, but not on a business one. Can't blame them, though, since she's been held as a Premier gem for years.

^ agreed
i want to watch the next episode! I don't want to wait! haha

Last night's episode was by far the best - more in depth and juicier! Shame it's over now and it doesn't seem like they're making a second series. :(

yeah does'nt seem like it since they did an update on the current season. Ah well. Good show.

Front page on tFS today: Daria Kurovska's Not-So-Model Behavior (Forum Buzz)

This article is the biggest shame ever published on tFS (I mean officially, not talking about what a couple of wackos may have written here and there in the forums) and an insult to the whole community as if the discussion we can have here are that sterile as it looks like from reading this.
The whole article's level reaches the depth of the lowest tabloid in the way it presents the topic. What do people who wrote this know about what helps a model in her career? Being bland and forgettable never made anyone go further and being moody will not necessary stop things from going on in a positive way.
Plus, this article seems to say everything looked bad and that's not the feeling I had after watching this TV show when she had a sincere and quiet talk with Aidan.

Sorry if I went off topic here but couldn't not write anything after reading this.

^I absolutely agree, I mean how old was she when it was filmed, 16 ? 17 ?
Shes far away from home and as the Premier agents frequently stated themselves, they are the model's family, esp during fashion week. Remeber how you treated your family/parents back at that age ? Door slamming, being miserable, frowning etc ?!

Some people in here should indeed look bad at how they behaved when they were her age and then might take into account how they would have felt thousands of kilometres away from home.

Like penny said, she obviously refelcted on her behaviour and came to the conclusion that it was wrong, hence the apology at the end of the episode.

What - in my opinion - some people do in here is comparing her behaviour to an adult in todays businessworld which leads to the conclusion that shes arrogant, full of herself and probably oh-so-childish as well. Hello, she is a child!
Of course her behaviour is neither adequate nor polite but for gods sake, she apologized,
and having the guts to do so deserves at least respect, in my opinion.

Just to get a few things in perspective.

Firstly she is not a child. I don't remember anyone stating she was acting like one either. She is working and old enough to know better. There were no other models throughout this show shown acting like Darya did.
I am sure there are other 17 year olds working right now, in all professions, who would show their employers a lot more respect and if they didn't they would likely not be working there much longer. On the flip side she did appear to be personable to the clients involved.

I agree it is admirable of her to realise her faults and apologise, but do you think this would have happened, had Aiden not berated her as he did?
Surely she realised that she had overstepped the mark, for someone to take her to task the way he did.

Also is no-one here allowed to comment on someone's unreasonable behaviour? On the particular episode Darya's attitude was highlighted and their is a thread here about the show, this is a forum, and people are gonna comment. This might actually help her career, although IMO I doubt it, and I actually am allowed to have that opinion.
