i hd shoes from ALDO falling apart really fast.... too $$$ for the quality. they have cute designs every once in awhile, and you can wait for the sale priced to kick in at some point... no my favorite store though

Aldo is not bad though. And I like their styles much more anyway. I got some AMAZING knee high gold boots from there last season. I get so many comments on them whenever I wear them, hehehe.

Shoes from Aldo are good for everyday wear, even if they are heels...it's cheap enough to get ruined and not matter. Styles are pretty trendy too.

The quality isn't the greatest, but decent for the price. It's kind of like Steve Madden, you can get a stylish pair of shoes for under $100, which is good for broke girls like me

I recently bought the wood platform/wedge mary janes. They're awesome! But I still can't believe how much I paid for them.

On a side note, everyone I know hated them.

i desperately want those wooden chloe knockoffs. i showed them to my BF, he didnt think they were that bad which is good.

keep us updated on your comfort with them. i wonder if there will be an issue with the wood cracking.

Does anyone have either the Babinski or Sebo styles currently shown on the website? I was wondering what you think of them (cute in reality? comfy? feet killers?)...And I called their customer service, but they didn't have the heel height measurements and was a bit curious...

^ i tried on the babinski boots at the store, and they definitely were not comfortable. they also cut my legs weirdly, making me look stumpy.

I have two pair of heels from Aldo and I adore them,but they are not that comfy.Or maybe I'm just not used to wearing high heels that oftenAnyway,my feet really hurt with them so I wear them only in some ocasions.

Woaaaa I'm very surprise by this thread... here Aldo is considered really bad. Like cheap shoes but overpriced and everybody in the city carry the same bags from Aldo , written Aldo on it jeez

Aldo's quality is not that great for heels.. pretty uncomfortable too. I do have 1 pair of boots from there and they are synthetic leather- very cheap looking I hate them and whenever I wear them I slip!

On that note they do have some nice designs now and then for shoes.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Sebo to put an end to all my questions. They're coming tomorrow so we'll see...I'm already returning a pair of boots to Shopbop, so if these go back too, I am going to have a large $ surplus to spend on shoes from somewhere else! Ha!
