Alexander McQueen Menswear F/W 2022.23 London

As per usual, some beautiful coats with some ill-advised prints and a few gimmicks sprinkled throughout.

It is very visually polished. Perhaps a little too polished, there isn't enough tooth or depth to this to really reason presenting this at all. Just have it prepped and ready to go in store.

I will say, Burton excels far better at men's than women's. There are some great jackets and coats, sleek pants, okay prints (better than her attempts at women's), but I'm thrown off by the "lets insert something into the waistband and not push it further" propositions. Love the knits, mainly because of how much I enjoy the 'Dante' and the 'Hunger' collections so much.

As excellent as her tailoring is, she's getting too comfortable with the same few silhouettes she always does. The lacework is interesting and I would have to liked to see some more of that over the heinous graffiti prints.

the tailoring is so pristine it’s unbelievable! God bless Lee he taught her well.

it’s good. very polished and now I need 4 McQueen jackets. who wants to me my sugar daddy? DM’s open :zorro:

Much better than her womenswear offering. It would be amazing if she designed a collection consisting only of suits done in a raw fabric.
