i like his women collection, i can see myself wearing it.
but am i the only one who is getting chloe vibe? some pieces just scream chloe.. it might be lightning and the setting but i don't know. i like the vibe though :D

I didn't realize we had a thread on him. i've seen some of his stuff at Satine that is heading in a newer direction. It's all quite basic but i like it and i would buy it.

i think its similar to chloe, which is probably why i like it so much. however i think it has a younger fresher vibe and a little more street style ish. not all of the ideas are original, but i love the way he executes them to make them his style. i feel like my brain is on the same wavelength as his (or i really want it to be haha)^_^ and also i would really like to know who the male and female models are as well i think they suit the clothes very nicely

:flower:...got it...

I like his stuff, it looks fun and basic with a twist.
However, prima facie, I find his price point a little high for what he does - T-shirt dresses, blouses and sporty jackets.
I'll need to see these pieces in real life to assess if they are worth the prices.

isn't this the guy who collaborated early last year or the year before with Subversive jewellery designer,Justin Giunta? He's been getting alot of press recently. I can't say that it evokes excitment in design, for me,but the knits are quality enough to render it pretty decent. Is the emphasis mainly on the fact that it's high-quality cashmere or is he real knitter? If the latter,I don't think it's as astounding as say a Tom Scott or even Pierrot who are master knitters.

I real love Alex's basic idea, but I think he has gottne a tad carried away with the more "collectiony" peices. Also, beware of the thicker knit cashmere peices, they pill like CRAZY. I have the thick/thin shawl collar from FW06 and while I adore it I was very disappointed after only two wears it was pilled all over. Had I not bought it through wholesale I would have returned it. Does anyone know who is writing it for men in NY? I have yet to find it anywhere, and the men's stuff for spring does look pretty good...
