Anyway I don't think any model knows for sure until the last minute so we probably shouldn't get our hopes up about her at this fitting. There were numerous fitting alice went to during SS09 that she wasn't cast in.

And I have great news!

I know of three edits that Alice has coming up. She has another spread in Elle UK, another spread and cover of Vogue Australia and a small edit in Numero Korea.

As for the shows that Alice will be appearing in, I can pretty much say that most of the important looks have been cast. Couture is not like ready-to-wear, where quick adjustments are possible. Fittings in couture are essential since the pieces are extremely delicate and often a model will know what they will be wearing in a show well in advance of official casting rounds. If you go to a fitting, you have an exceptional chance of being cast. I only know of three fittings Alice has been to, and I know of only two shows of which she has been confirmed. Outside of that, I do not wish to speculate. Wherever she pops up, she pops up and I will be excited. I just hope she has a strong showing since I'll be doing some casting for fw09/10 rtd and want her to carry some heat.

Me too . I just hope that she's ok and that the pressure (and a rather contradictory one too considering how she started out on AusNTM) doesn't get to her. Hair colour is neither here nor there to me, that can change in a jiffy, but I thought everything else about her was perfect during the Spring season. Absolutely perfect. Look at how lovely she looked in Bluemarine and how mindblowing she was in the latest UK Elle editorial! If potential clients can't see that then they don't deserve her.

Besides that, though, I appreciate all the news updates, Nils .

She will go back to NY. Who knows, even if she does well, she could still end up in Berlin. With the economic downturn, there are less jobs for models, so a few really big high fashion names are doing Berlin this season. I know that Toni Garrn, Anja R., Georgina, Kasia, Siri, Sheila, Behati, Lakshmi are all their through Modelwerk, and they will be joined by two of Alice's big rivals, Alice Gibb and Olga Sherer. Alice B would be a good fit for the German aesthetic, though. I would love to see her in great stuff like Schumacher and one of my favourite designers, Bernhard Willhelm.
