I've seen so many people lately with part of their hair shaved off and it looks so forced and unoriginal. Maybe they had it before Alice Dellal, but somehow I doubt it.

I think it's something that comes and goes. I remember 'the undercut' was everywhere the year I left school - and that was some time ago - and Tank Girl helped to keep the look alive during the 90's. I never dared, but some of my friends did.

Certainly, it's not often the style looks as good as it does on Ms Dellal.

i think sometimes she can appear really fake and try-hard on pictures, but on the elle street style video she seemed really nice.

I just wanted to say something on the copy cat issue.
I don't think it's a bad thing that other people take Alice's undercut as an inspiration. I remember when everybody cut bangs because Heidi Klum (okay, bad example :p) had them. Or the infamous Rachel hair cut.
What's the big fuss? It's a trend just like any other and after all it's just a hair cut, isn't it?

my friend for some insane reason adore her and all those other british hipster model scene whatever, the whole pixie, taylor, luke etc gang.

obliviously i just say i don't like them and never go into reason otherwise it will offend my friend and she'll kill me

amen! petitpuppy on the haircut thing it's just a haircut it's only a trend and in another year people won't care. it'll go back in the haircut trend vault like mullets and afros being whoop.
