My favorite top that I think was called the "heart" shirt is nowhere to be found on the site.. It had a colorblocked style and a heart-shaped seam between the top and bottom.. Mine was in mint and khaki as seen in the low quality pic below. Am I just not finding it on the site? Or is there anywhere that stocks older AA styles (wishful thinking)? Thanks

I think that dress is super cute. What's not cute however, is when waitresses/hostesses at mediocre wannabe trendy restaurants wear it as just a dress. I'm always concerned they are going to drop a menu and then have to bend over to pick it up It just makes me uncomfortable seeing girls/women in THAT tiny of a dress at their place of employment (if it's not a strip club)

ah you guys are making me want to buy the tie-dye scarf. i actually just bought the grey triblend cardigan and the salt n pepper hoodie. i don't really know why, i've just been meaning to purchases these items for like 2 years now! i might return the hoodie for the mesh bodysuit or the tie-dye circle scarf.

and do you guys like the highwaisted shiny leggings vs. the non-highwaisted ones?

also why don't they restock the unisex velour raglan longsleeves?! i am so bitter that there aren't any XS, S, or M's in any color!!!

since most of you are coveting the mesh dress like i was.. let me just say this: i saw the mesh dress in stores today and it was super tiny! it did not even look like a dress on the hanger, just a top. i tried on the medium (there werent any other sizes there), and im an xs and 5'2 (super short) and it looked ridiculous on! it was extremely tight and short. i dont see how you can wear something under it. hopefully the one i tried on was just defective or something? i was so excited about it

however i did get a mesh bodysuit so im okay!

I just had to come in and say I LOVE American Apparel. Yes, it is somewhat overpriced, but something about it, it works for me. The clothes are usually cut so well for men.

okay good so it wasnt just me haha. yeah i had a hard time getting it on too. even then, i think the large will be tight and not loose enough to layer something under it. this is ridic!!
