Angelina's Baby Out of Hospital

i think it's great that you are required to travel to the child's country, because before you never had to. it is very eye opening and it is a good way for the parents to become aquainted w/ the child's roots, which is very important in raising a healthy minded child.

You're right on the fact that we should become aquainted with the child's roots but in some countries that you adopt from you are not required to travel to receive your child. (My parents are going through the process right now in Vietnam:woot: :woot: :woot: ) In Ethiopia you are not required to travel, so angelina probuably just wanted to experience the child's culture and see where she is from. I also think it's very important and I think it was very responsible for angelina to travel to receive her child instead of having her escorted to the US.

My parents are planning on emerging themselve in Vietnamese culture before they even go, just to get a taste for it. And they are learning the language so my little sis or bro can know their people's language but also speak English, it's a good way for them to stay intact with their culture.:D

surferchica, that is excellent that your parents are so interested in learning about the language and the culture, esp. that they will be able to teach their children. an aquaintances family recently adopted from china, and i think they were actually a little shocked about certain aspects about the culture, but again i do think it's important for families if they can exprience it first hand. remember, even if they are babies the early part of their life is living in a completely different culture, and their first perception of communication and language might not be in english! i'm speaking from experience here, so i'm glad the adoption process is a little more progressive.

Such Ignorance

What are you talking about?

I wasn't saying her physical features are scary, I was saying that the way that Angelina's hands are placed in front of her mouth makes it seem like there is an extension to the mouth.

Geez, why would I call a baby scary? I do have a heart.

^LOL... But no seriously that was a little harsh MizBlue.

I understood what you were saying Ho-Couture

aww she's soo cute. adoption truly is a beautiful thing.

I keep on bumping into more Jolie-family pictures ^_^ This one is from Celebrity Baby Blog.

hope everybody's wearing their sunscreen!

it's got to be a drag to go out with your children, trying to focus on them and adjust to having two instead of one, with all the paparazzi following you.

It's weird that she gets followed so much with her children.... other celebrities have children, even with a higher profile then her, but they're not CONSTANTLY in the media.

I know he's still young but he's very edgy, I guess it's the way she dresses him. He's going to be a hearthrob when he grows up. Watch out 3yr old girls, Here comes maddox!!!!!!

I  Maddox's Ramones tshirt!
(These pictures are from Celebrity Baby Blog & Dana's Dirt.)

How old is Maddox? My goodness, she's carrying him like he doesn't weigh a pound! Am I the only that noticed??
