Ann Demeulemeester F/W 12.13 Paris

Major déja-vu. And the feathers...again. I'll never ever dislike anything Ann does because everything is always sublime and the leather is divine but I see nothing ground-breaking here and this kind of bores me

It pains me to say this, but this collection isn't really doing much for me, and I usually LOVE her work. It's not bad by any means, it's just this "seen it before from her and better" feeling. And honestly, it's kinda boring. Plus, they went way overboard with the hair.

ouch...not my tastes at all. I wouldn't like my gf to wear it...Seriously ! too dark, too gothic.

I feel exactly the same way. She can do no wrong in my eyes and even though I'd still want a 40% of this (the boots!!), I'm not really moved by the collection as a whole this season.

I must say: when Ann ventures into color, I usually don't like it (like that horrible shade of red she used a few f/w collections ago). However, in this case, she's done well for herself--that is an utmost beautiful shade of blue, and when paired w/ black (instead of the usual white), I think it makes for quite an eye-catching outfit.

the coats are pretty awesome but besides that it seems a bit repetitive.

although it's not the most new collection she's ever done,i do love the use of the navy/midnight blue colour.

actually this is the first time in a while she's seemed a little stuck on a particular vein. but that's okay....it's ann after all. when have we ever known her to be some kind of machine just to satisfy the fashion masses? she does nothing if it's not true to who she is. and be sure, when we see this pulled away in the shops on the e-shops,the pieces will have a different feel to them.

The use of leather and the layers are great as usual, and there are some very beautiful looks, but I feel it lacks romance. I always get a strong romantic vibe from Ann's collections, that makes them go beyond just great technique, but this one seems a little 'cold'... even though it's pretty incredible to see the work done when seeing the HQs.

She does layering so well. I would take a class on how she layers things so effortlessly
I do agree with everyone else though and I feel the exact same way as I did last season because I am not moved
