Ann Demeulemeester Homme S/S 06 Paris

i just love the jackets and shirts, and the colors and patterns on the sneakers are great!!! a few of the trousers look like they might be difficult to wear though...they're a bit like pyjamas.

This is one of my favorite collections from the shows. I'm definetly picking up some pieces, Atelier told me they basically bought the entire Spring line. Good news for me!

BACK UP, slowly step away from Ann's collection at Atelier until I'm done with it. Put that credit card down! Easy, boy, easy, everything is under control.

This is one of the best collections I’ve seen so far this season. Except for some of the pants it all looks very wearable to me, although a different styling might, off course, be necessary.

The best about this collection is however the extra focus on the menswear signaled by giving it it’s own show. I have a feeling that this alone will help create more attention from the buyers and therefore widen the distribution to the benefit of all of us. At least that’s what I hope.

Those Knitted Long Sleeve T-shirts seems like they might be produced at my friends factory

its about time ANN got her stuff togheter. she was doing the same thing season after season. her mens show is great and refreshing. I have alwys liked Ann's work but it was getting soooooooo boring. it always looked like the same collection! she did it this season! good for you ann!

Oh sorry, vague question.. Hard to pinpoint what i want to know, i just realised i love her designs and want to learn more about her.
I want to know more about her and her designs in general.
Editorials, great photos, bio's. I also got the impression she doesnt do big ad's. but i hope im wrong

It's really hard trying to get "into" someone when no stores nearby carries any of her stuff..

Hope any of this makes sense

Well, we have an excellent general thread on her in designers and collection, started by yours truly (cause i'm the biggest ann freak you will ever meet). there is the shop info, interviews, past collections, etc. - it was active just today.

She doesn't advertise - most Belgian designers don't.

There is also this

You can see a lot of past collections on www.firstview.com and www.style.com

I like it alot, I surprised at how much colour there is!

Me too!

I see lots of jackets I would love to wear, although I think that with skinnier trousers and less-trashy shoes those outfits would all look insanely better!
