Ann Ward

Well Karlie, Frida, Kirsi, Hana S and Tiuu are all about that tall and have all done very well, but they have amazing faces and walks, Ann is a little rough around the edges, but she's very photogenic, I don't know if she'll ever book campaigns but I hope she does well editorially and on the runways.

^They shoot two cycles a year and it takes them months to edit and stuff. Must be a boring wait for Ann. Is she 20 yet?

Have you any photos with Ann from ANTM? I saw just 2 or 3.. :(
Or maybe commercial from Cover Girl? I'm pretty sure, it should be somewhere.. ;D
Personally.. she's great, but too tall for me..(oki, I'm just 5`9 so may be that's why xdd)..

btw, someone knows her measurements? ;>
I saved all the HQ photos.

Alice Burdeu won Australia's next top model cycle 3, and she is the most succesful model from the top model franchise untill today! she had 2 amazing seasons f/w 2008 and s/s 2009, she walked for Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Proenza Schouler, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana and many more!
and she was a quirky, awkward, shy, extremely tall and thin girl just like Ann!! but she gained alot of confidence and grace in her walk after winning! I'm hoping for Ann to do that and a lot more!!

Thank you very much for telling me that. I usually don't watch this show so I didn't know.

I know one fashion online magazine where after the article about her, a lot of people put negative comment as she looks sick, her waist is to thin, she won only because she is shy, strange...etc..you know haute couture model. I must say that that is really rude of people saying...it's not a bad thing being so tall...and I am sure fashion industry will apperciate her . So don't worry Ann , we love you^_^

Er. Just to correct the most succesful top model alum bit. The most successful model out of the topmodel franchise is actually Ksenia Kahnovich who won the first Russia's Top Model, Alice is 2nd I think, if you consider the amount of international work that she had done.

Fashionspot Ksenia Kahnovich

There's a lot of models working today from modelling shows, not "top model" though, I don't know if Ksenia's show was Russia's next top model or not, but Patricia Van der Vilet, Suvi and Vanessa H are also from tv reality shows and of them Suvi is the most successful so far. Vannessa was on Germany's next top model as far as I remember.

edit: accoring to wikipedia, Ksenia isn't a top model alum, she won "you are a supermodel" cycle 1.

Also to answer questions from above, Ann isn't 20 yet and she is taller than 6'2", she said she was 6'2 1/2" on the show.

To be honest, I couldn't care less if she's taller than 6'2''. I'm pretty sure that when a model has that "it" factor, the fashion industry just joins to favor her, specially if she's backed up by strong tastemakers... which I hope will be Ann's case. I think she has a room for everyone, she has that regal beauty that works for luxury brands and that quirky, nerdy look for avant garde brands.

Patricia van der Vliet is actually the most successful NTM alumni. She's from Holland's Next Top Model. The competition where Suvi won wasn't part of the NTM franchise. Anyways back on topic, I really hope we will see her on IMG's development board soon.

as miss carmen kass already said, Ksenia is not part of the top model franchise and actually I think that "Russian's next top model" doesn't even exist yet! :innocent:

That's just the name of it, but it's still a NTM franchise.
It even credits Tyra as the creator of the show on the wiki page.

i loved how Tyra described Ann's process. she'd be like, walking and looking awkward, but everytime the photog would press the button, magic would happen and thats how she got so many stunning photos

She appears in IMG web site?
I really hope to see her in a couture show, or in NY al least in F/W 2011 shows.

so this is the girl who won ?
boring like all ANTM winners pure hype no work

^So funny to hear you say. She just won so yes, there is a lot of hype and no, there isn't much work. But hey, she just won.

 well, we don't know that yet! she has this fragility that translates into freshness that the designers might find appealing! and the 2 editorials in Vogue Italia and Beauty in Vogue cover wont hurt her career I think!
of course she doesn't have work yet! she just won! lol!

2 Vogue eds and a national covergirl ad don't count as no work to me
