Jordan even said that, Britt is a wreck unless she's getting good feedback, but guess what, models tend to get more negative over good feedback. if she's really losing confidence this easily, she'll be back to driving heavy machinery in no time.

Lucy needs to start looking like a woman. a good model, in her youth, is able to look both like a young innocent girl AND a full grown woman. even if she has to fake it. you see her face and it's all sunshine and smiles, but she has yet to display proper allure.

Lucy has the chance to un-learn her style of modelling and once she actually does some test shoots, she'll learn that a wide smile is not appropriate for every photo. It is easy to compare her to an experienced model about the same age, but most of those girls have already been through development (maybe since they were 14 or so) and we didn't get to witness their growing pains.

Brittany needs to get it together. She has less time to improve and will have a harder time outside of the show without the judges coddling her.

This. I'm so mad at the edit the show gave the girls this season. Like Lucy's edit is so confusing people don't even know how to relate to her. Brit been showed she's good friends with everyone, The show not editing out her goodbye to Lauren so her fan base grows rolleyes, "has charmed the fashion world" etc etc.

I think Britt had heaps of 'i want to go home' moment but they didn't show it so people wont drag her.

Just wanted to wish the true and most talked about queen of c9 good luck for tonight!! Winner or not she'll be an ICON and talked about years from now. I'm 100% sure she will dedicate the time and energy for modeling post-show!

As For brit, Thru out the show, I found she was lazy and she lacks the drive to continue in the industry. And most of her photos are mediocre imo. At her age She should have talent and work ethic but don't. She thinks its ok to perform half-***ed performances in photoshoot, wanting to give up in ep 3 and 10 etc etc and her fans and the show are telling her "yes its ok Britney!!!" by allowing it and saying excuses!!! its not ok!!! Not for her stans/ the show to be clapping for her every time she tries!!! I feel like she's been dragged to the top 2 because of her story...w/e tho.

I just finished watching the season and it's the first time that I was watching the Australian edition and I loved it! I usually don't like the American version because the girls don't have any talent and they are so mean to each other! Here the girls were complimenting each other, they were friends and that felt so good, no drama! I will definitely watch the next season. And the girls this year were great I have to say. Their pictures were amazing some times, I was impressed. But Brittany was clearly the winner. She was my favorite since that first b&w portrait the first day. She blew me away. I loved Alex's walk! Really rare to see that on NTM.

Glad I'm not the only one who did that. I was like, erm what about Alice, Montana, Simone, Amanda, etc? So shady and full of himself when he said that. Second hand embarrassment when he keeps saying it in front of Tyra too and that Australian girls are better than their American counterpart. Yeah of course, considering Tyra nowadays doesn't even bother to look for a real model anymore but only for the reality TV personality drama.

On a side note, I appreciate that the editors for this series are trying to present the shows in a more stylish way, but since cycle 7 (or is it 6) the editing is boring as hell. Alex is truly the saviour of this cycle.

Been waiting to say this too: While I'm not surprised that Brittany won (I called that the moment JPG asked her to be on the show, if they want a credible winner, she's an easy pick considering a big name designer showed interest in her already), she panics and cries too easily and while her confidence is growing, its because the AusNTM environment coddles her too much. She needs to be prepared for a slew of rejections and negative comments, as well as a drive to actually go through it all for long term career.

From a tv perspective, I do think that this latest cast has been very good. As a whole, they were much more beautiful than the past two seasons and even with the awful photoshoots, I think they showed more talent. So I can see where Alex Perry is coming from in that respect. I don't think he was dismissing any of those girls who have gone on to be successful as this show and the judges have been quite good about acknowledging and even thanking those girls for boosting the show's reputation. Alex has also booked a number of them for his own runway shows long after their seasons ended.

Individually, it remains to be seen if any of them will live up to any of the successful models from this show although I'm willing to give them that chance to prove themselves in time.

Realistically, this season is not much more different than years prior in that there are probably only about 2 or 3 girls that have body/height/measurements and likely drive to work as models locally let alone internationally. Even if/when the others get signed, they won't last long. IMG signed nine girls from C8 and currently only 4 of them are still there, one of them being the winner and not working all that much.

I have to say that the Australian casts have almost always been better than the American casts, not just recently, so I had no issue with him saying that to Tyra as well.

Phoebe is with Jaz Daly, Alex with London Mgmt and Izi with Scoop Models.

No news on Kaitlyn, Cassie, Zahra, Tanahya, Jordan, Lauren. Although it doesn't appear that Cassie, Zahra or Tanahya have agencies.

oh, a new season!

AusNTM does well in using high street clothes and spinning them to make them look 'expensive'.

i think i've seen more designer looks on ANTM than AusNTM
