Lauren doesn't have a runway body, for commercial yes, maybe. I think if they really want an ANTM they should have the whole package. Tahnee didn't have the conventional runway body and her work was extremely limited, she never worked the internation runways...

Like the judges keep saying, could we send you Paris or New York right now? If the answer is no. Why keep letting them stay?

I thought Lucy had a bruise under her eye at first but looks like a birthmark.

Overall I think the cast this season is probably the most boring they've ever had in the entire series. Not enough variety...

Also have to say I'm still impressed by Alyssa, she's still got it. Her eye's looked amazing in the last episode.

Completely agree. The show should be aiming for a winner who can do it all and that includes working overseas, hopefully in high fashion. The bar has already been set high by girls like Alice and Montana, why settle? They can't predict the future because so much of a model's success on an international level is based on luck, but they can pick a girl who is most likely to succeed going by industry standards. Many of which do not change, for better or worse.

Clearly they need to step up their casting in that respect but they pick a "cross section" of girls who will appeal to the viewers because it's still a television show. Lauren's type of beauty is one that many teen girls would probably want to look like themselves, making her quite popular going by the show's Facebook and instagram. Not having a runway figure makes her beauty less intimidating. But her potential in what she'll be able to achieve in her career as a model is limited.

The prize for the Mazda challenge was just money though, not a campaign.

I'm guessing the girls who win the campaigns will be paid as well? If so, the national exposure for a model just starting in her career is definitely better than just money.

I didn't say it was a solo win. The think is there was a campaign to be won and Lucy was part of the win. How did Lauren win the best challenge? ....If you're there for money then yes. Modeling had nothing to do with that win.

Lucy's been doing well thru out the season- Not just next week LOL........

Seconded. Does Lucy have a birthmark under her eye that they keep caking over with makeup? Or was that just a rash in a couple of the episodes? If she does she should show it off, it would set her apart from just about every model in the world.

I was really rooting for Jordan after Phoebe left. She was the other one who was almost runway ready.

You're all giving Lauren a bit of a hard deal. She has the potential, but she's not there yet. Her photo this week was the best of the bunch. She also seems a lot more comfortable within her own skin than all the other girls.

This is why I like Lauren A LOT cause this year's group of girls seems so insecure and nor confident in their own selves.

It is like, girls, you were picked from thousands of others to compete, how can you question your beauty or skills now when you need to perform to the fullest.

I still like Jess, yeah she won't be walking in Paris/Milan but I see HUGE print-potential in this girl.

Jordan was such a dark-horse though, the way her face cleans up and the way she photographs is exactly what gets girls booked now, not to mention her height and age.


Overall, I feel like these girls weren't able to fully show their potential cause of the boring shoots of this season, It just lacks creativity and style for me.

The supposed winner is good, but she hasn't wowed me at least once, like it was with all the other winners (except for Melissa who I still don't like)

Jess is the only intersting girl left in the bunch now that Jordan is gone. Lucy indeed has a great body and a great height but her face is very commercial and can't take on makeup to save her life.

Jess is an entirely different person after the makeover. the red hair is perfect for her, if i were her agent, i wouldn't let her go back.

Lucy is still young, which is a double edged sword. the youth look is great and it will definitely work for her, but she also still needs to serve me fierce b!tch. if she had Alex' ferocity, she'd be everything. i'm rooting for her, but that whole 'giggle giggle, i'm naturally sweet, i can't look bad ***' is not really working for me.

on the other hand, she might also age like Morgane Dubled, meaning she will look like she's in her late teens, facewise, forever.

The red hair on Jess really was a game changer for her... but she's short... I don't get why AP is always on about Alex's height yet never mentions Jess's...

Lucy has the potential to do well but she needs to mature... she's not versatile enough right now and totally reads catalog...

Brit's proportions aren't quite right at the moment... and I'm not sure how much she can change them... gives great face though.
