It's conducive to the impressive appearance of the clothing - which I guess is the whole point but it seems much too...ordinary for Balenciaga.

indeed. but balenciaga isnt really known for good campaigns (spring '07 anyone?) except maybe the baroque rock stare one. its nice to see gainsbourg dressed chicly tho

I love the colors, use of shadow and general mood. Possibly my favourite campaign so far.

I kind of hate the last two images in the daylight. It doesn't really suit the collection.

I do hope there's more images to come.

As of now my favorite shot is the one with the black and white dress. The pose, lighting, outfit...it all looks perfect.

i really like charlotte and balenciaga but i don't like these at all...they're not flattering for her or for the clothes...and they're so overly airbrushed.. i much prefer jennifer connelly's.
