an almost colorless show was tinted by technology
So everything's really silver and it's just the lights tricking us?

balenciaga has plenty of normal boring basic pieces in the boutique. at the end of the day, it's still a business.Well you don't go to Balenciaga for classic come-one-come-all pieces. That's what Ralph Lauren is for. With Balenciaga, there is an understanding about silhouette and proportion that is specific and unusual, and thus will not be for everyone. But that's why we have options
.
I think the disappointed feeling I'm having is because I loved last season so strongly and so instantaneously that nothing could really top it for me, and this doesn't. It's technically masterful (when is a Balenciaga collection not) and it's interesting to look at, but it isn't slamming me in the gut like fall did. I don't know if that means I won't like it, but I'm not dying over it.
In a way I kind of dreaded seeing the show for that very reason, I knew I wouldn't love it as much.
