Menswear is nice a simple with interesting shapes. Women's line is too much... I usually adore Balenciaga again and again and I am not one who is afraid of the strange but this is HORRIBLE.

The pieces really are beautiful on their own, especially the metallic finale dresses. The only upsetting thing is that they don't come with their own lighting fixtures so that they keep the color from the runway. It's a little depressing.

Worn without the tights the shoes aren't all that special. Certainly not as interesting or desirable as the last few seasons have been. The bags are gorgeous though.

I LOVE those little clutches! The iridescent crocodile is a fantastic continuation of the idea of things reflecting light and color...so wonderful.

Love the shoes and the pieces off the runway too.

But those dresses will be around the $25,000. Some of them are made with dyed couture ribbon (?), and obviously we all know Balenciaga are insane with their prices.

The bags are probably the most affordable part of this collection.

I don't think the dresses could be that expensive, the structured dresses of fall cost around £1,500 in Browns which is expensive but not Balmain expensive and people keep saying that those Balenciaga's would cost a lot more.

One of the tops is on my list and I love the glittery dresses as well but of course they are completely out of reach. I actually kind of like the jacket in the black/navy combo but cant imagine it off the runway. Does anyone know what they're made of? leather? I'd love to try one on just to see how it looks on a normal person.
