That first jacket is AMAZING. I would love to see one brave actor wear one of the dragon embellished blazers to a big red carpet or a premiere, Cannes would be ideal.

Kanye West needs to step far away from this collection though I see him going crazy for the trousers.

Drop crotch pants rarely look good on anyone, and no one will look good in these. I like what he is trying to do with the cummerbund belts but the execution is sloppy.

There are some great jackets but even those are a continuation of trends that have been beaten to death. I'm getting bored with him.

^ There are very few male celebs that are really into fashion and the one that seems to be has horrible taste I would love to see actors wearing these at Cannes or any other red carpet event. And as Flashbang said, it would've been great if there was an actual runway show for this amazing collection.

I'm not sure how I feel about those baggy crotch pants. I have conflicted feelings. I love the asymmetrical black jacket. The best pieces here are the tops. The coats, jacket, sweaters and shirts.

I've been a harsh critic of Olivier, but this is pretty great. It's nice to see a less gaudy Balmain and to start to see Olivier bring his own vision and ideas to the brand.

I was getting worried for mens after the women's pre-fall. All this is gorgeous! Like everyone I love all the jackets and sweaters. Especially that first jacket! I'm really glad Olivier has toned down the gaudiness of past collections. I also really like the pants that are not drop crotch. The models pulls them off well but in the real world not everyone can.

i can always count on jackets from Balmain to look real good... but i pass on everything else.

And there's the obi again, the Japanese influence has officially invaded menswear.
The jacket with gold embroidered lapel is nice, as are the other simple sharp tailored jackets, but I hate a lot of the proportions and the belts right under the gut aren't going to flatter guys with a scrap of body fat on them, nor is being made to look shorter with a drop-crotch.
