Best Lip Balm

I have a whole host of lippie porducts:
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream
Burts Bees Lip Balm
Dr. Hauschka Lip Balm
Clinique Super Balm
and sometimes just a little Olive Oil :-)

I have been doing that since hitting puberty (the age of wanting to kiss boys) Now, 20 yrs later and am married I still slather VAseline on my lips before going to bed because I love how soft my lips become in the morning.:D

I'm currently using Aveeno Essential moisture (SPF 15) with Jojoba oil and Shea Butter...

It tastes really good actually :p .. but my problem with it is that its really shiny... but it seems to work really well...

I have a question though... is it normal to put on lip balm before you go to bed.. I always slather it on.. since I dont care if it looks oily since I'm going to bed.. and then in the morning my lips are all soft and smooth... does anyone else do this?

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. Stinks but works!

Try makeup411.com. It lists the top 4 lip balms used by major makeup artists.

I wonder if anyone ever tried putting on some Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion or Gel. With me, it gets sucked up by the lips very fast, it doesn't stink nor tastes like anything, but somehow, the Gel doesn't seem as moisturizing as the Lotion... although it doesn't seem to be SO good anyways...

they've got a balm out now - and some plumping action in there.
very pretty, very moisturizing.

Rosebud Lip Salve (comes in an adorable tin pot) is the only lip balm I've ever tried and sticked with.

I love Kiehl's lip balm #1, but now addicted to the tinted version even more for just a hint of red.

my sister introduced me to rosebud salve...

and i like to put it on with my lipstick, but i can't use it as a frayed lip saving device.

if that makes any sense...

i use some random stuff nowadays.

i still stick to burt's bees. and blistex. even though it tastes bad. it works. and it stings, which in my eyes, makes it work.

Burt's Bees, Rosebud Salve are pretty good. And you get a lot for the price! But I don't like using my fingers to apply too much ...

Softlips is great. really works well

I love the scent of the body shop born lippy balms...but i don't find them very moisturizing.

Carmex
Burt's Bees

Smith's Rosebud Salve
L'Occitane Creamy Honey Lip Balm
Too Faced Bunny Balm

I like the idea of rosebud salve, and tried using it. I felt that I found myself biting my lips because, made me feel like they were peeling. Like, it feels good going on, but didn't sink into my lips... like the "kiss my face" lip balm.
I used to use soft lips! I don't know where to buy it anymore...

Is it strange for you?!

Vaseline used everynight of the lips makes them reaaaaaly soft. Give it a try ;) it the cheapest balm you´ll get and it´s great.
