Best Lip Balm

My favourites are:
Strawberry Chapstick
Kiehls lip balm
Lucas Paw Paw Ointment

anyone knows any good lipbalms that are "matte"....? but add a tiny bit of natural SHEER red tint to lips....

i dont wear any, but I have a girlfriend who wheres 'Sweet Talk' and she loves it, it leaves lips with shine with a slight hint of color (depending on which one you buy) and she says it tastes great.

i heard kheils was had a great lipbalm from marie claire. i'm thinking about trying it.

Smith's Rosebud Salve is really worthy of all the hype, but it tastes rather like shite so I've relegated it to nightstand use.

I just bought C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint in pink a couple of days ago at Bath and Body Works and I must admit that I'm impressed. Good consistency, amazing taste, non-medicinal, yet minty scent.

Carmex
Nivea Cherry balm (with a slightly matte red tint in it)
Stila lip pot in Cerise

Kiehls lipbalm is pretty good... I have a few tubes of it.. but I wish it had a better application... you have to squeeze it out onto your finger.. I wish it had one of those applicators like the vaseline tubes of lipbalm...

C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip. It's seriously the best, and when you don't have a mint handy just lick your lips and bam fresh breath...! It tastes great. Highly recommended!

LAbello chery is what you are looking for ;)

love - fresh sugar (expensive, though)
Smashbox tinted lip conditioner (tastes/smells good, beautiful colors and great moisture)
blistex-not the regular stuff, it's in a purple tube, tastes like juicy fruit...
Smith's strawberry (tastes good, looks pretty, and doubles as cuticle balm and eyebrow tamer)
and Kiehls, it's really nice for overnight application!

I've looked through most of the thread but there doesn't seem to be one or two "best" lip balms... My dermo says acutane will make my lips REALLY dry so I want something clear and not glossy but have no idea what to try. Has anyone tried la mer?

Why do you want a Lamer lip balm?! :D
That is way to expensive to get the same results you can get with much cheaper products.

If you want something more posh, that moisturizes and doesn´t add gloss, you HAVE to try Vinefit Levres by Lancome!
It´s lush and leaves the lips feeling sooooooooooooo nice!!!
Smells great too and doens´t have any synthetic taste or smell!

If you are afraid that your lips will become very dry, just make sure that at night before you sleeps you apply an extra thick layer of whatever you are using (even vaseline is great).

If you like 8th hour cream, i would recommend that to you to use on your lips during the accutane treatment.

I also like using Palmer's cocoa butter stick on my lips. It smells soo good!

I live by it too, I've been using it for 10 years and while everyone always thinks you're putting a gluestik on your lips, it's worth looking funny

^ Thanks :)

Whats the 8th hour cream?

It´s a product by Elizabeth Arden, it comes in a tube and the texture is a bit like vaseline. It has plants extracts and it smells kind of strange, but you get used to it! ^_^
You can use it anywhere on your face or body and it´s highly moisturizing!
It´s great for the lips! Some people also use it as a face/eye gloss or mix it with eye shadows for that glossy lids look.

They also have the lipbalm version in clear and with an hint of colour (never tried it though)

I get the gluestick comment too! haha

Can someone recommend me a good lipbalm/s that is very moisturizing and that adds a natural red tint ( without looking like lipgloss ) ?
I would have used Labello sofialuv but my lips don't seem to like it :flower:

I love softlips, it's very cheap but it doesnt leave the peelings of the lip of your skin when u rub it off, it smells good and moisturises your lips for long.
