Armani only uses new or lesser known girls because he doesn't want to distract the audiences attention from the clothes and believes the it-models are too flashy for his shows. Of course, he has done exceptions mainly for his paris couture.

Jil Sander seems to be a tough one too. They only want the "minimalist" girls, so even Natasha who has done their campaign a thousand times hasn't walked for Sander, except maybe ss 07. She would be too flashy glamour-type to do the show these days. Most of the popular established girls haven't walked JS.

Can anyone come up with shows Suvi hasn`t walked? At her best season she walked 72 shows, so I guess there can`t be many big ones she hasn`t done. Just because I´m interested...

but maybe its just cos their look doesnt fit with the brand or the collection...i find it more surprising if a model has done all of the big names.

look at Versace's past two runway shows and tell me how many of the mosels fit those collections its not about fitting the look of clothing its about who is how at the moment or who directors like

Regarding the matter of designers not wanting seasoned models to walk their shows in order to emphasize the clothes, I think that was a sensible assumption going in but it has backfired to some extent because now focus on these shows because many see the models who are cast in these shows as an indicator for who will be the next big thing. Prada is an example of this.
