Big Shows that Big Models Haven't Walked In

Giorgio Armani (all the lines), Gianfranco Ferrè, Salvatore Ferragamo, Kenzo, Isabel Marant, Dries Van Noten, Viktor & Rolf, Vivienne Westwood, Lacoste, Max Azria, Herve Leger by Max Azria, Hugo Boss, Alexander Wang etc are not minor shows to me..I think that a show shouldn't be marked as "major" or "big" only considering the global fame of the brand (so only Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and few other Italian and French designers/brands would be included in the "big" listD

if i were judging the status of the shows by their fame, i would think shows like armani, lacoste and hugo boss are major
most of the models mentioned in this thread have never walked for armani because he always gets unknown, cheap models for his shows;
lacoste, max azria, herve leger always get newer, younger models,
viv westwood always gets unknown models

etc etc

so i don't think that it's important for daria to ever walk those shows

Alexander Wang was not famous or at least not notable in the fashion world when Daria stopped doing runway shows. He started getting big models only around FW08/SS09.

Ok about Alex Wang, but Armani Privè is a major show to me (considering couture week and the models that he usually casts for it) and also Giorgio Armani and Emporio (ok he often takes professional models and not supertop for these two lines, but considering the wordwide fame of the brands and that also models like Kim Noorda or Jessica Stam has walked the shows I think they can be marked as "major")..moreover I try to make a list focused on the "golden" period of the models and of the designer/brand too (Hugo Boss in the mid 2000's regularly casted models such Mariacarla or Julia Stegner so that's why I choose to quote this brand, or other designers, in Lily Cole's list for ex).

casting kim noorda with 30 other unknown models does not make a show major

I quoted Kim and Jessica to name two important names on the runways, but a lot of other big models have walked for Armani..btw you're right..I made a sort of confusion with my lists first I included also brands like Y-3 and then I quoted more relevant names..sorry!
I'll try to be more selective and consistent

i always wondered why snejana walked miu miu in her first season but not prada, then in fw 2006 she walke both then two seasons none and in spring 2008 she walked just miu miu. there are really weird combinations in karls and miuccias shows^^
