Björk

Omg, the new Bjork album is immaculate!! I've got Lion song on repeat right now.

the new album is amazing! Black Lake is my favourite song. I don't think im gonna make it to new york in time for the MoMA exhibition, which is sad, but i'll definitely buy the catalogue / book that just came out:

(i also recently got tickets to see her in July! it was ridiculously expensive but it's in my favourite venue ever, which also happens to be very small and intimate, i can't wait!)

If you remember, please let us know what it was like. Hope you'll enjoy it.

i'll probably brag about it for ages, lol, but it's in late july so there's time for that!

Official video for Lionsong released 2 days ago. It was directed by I&V, and clearly an expansion from the album cover concept, or vice versa.

I haven't seen the Bjork exhibition, but I think it is as The New Yorker alludes in this review. The problem is much bigger than Bjork's show. It lies with MOMA and it's blatant commercialisation of art.

By the sound of it, the actual presentation of her live art presentations might not have been executed very well, but her music should still hit some nerves. Vulnicura is an intensely personal album, and the composition of the tracks are actually art in itself.

360 degrees of Björk…

After unique premieres in London and New York using virtual-reality headsets, Björk’s new music has finally debuted online. The video for her Vulnicura album opener, “Stonemilker,” was adapted to be viewed on normal screens, though it has maintained an interactive 360-degree capability.

Although her last album sucks I'm waiting for a new one and I have a feeling it will be awesome. Make Bjork great again!
