Boobs

Erggg...with few exceptions I feel like this thread is way more focused on how flat chested is gorgeous. Yes, I know flat chests are gorgeous, I know you can get away with wearing more (thats why I'm envious, thats why every supermodel is no bigger than a B cup, thats why no reputable celebrity is any bigger than a C cup)...but I don't need to be told that big boobs are 'tacky'...I thought this thread was supposed to be supportive (no pun intended).:(

Fabulyss, I suspect this discussion is a bit skewed because of the nature of this site. As far as celebrities, though, I seem to recall Queen Latifah is an E, and that may even be after a reduction (sorry it's been a few years since I read the interview  ). I can think of others who I'm sure are naturally more than a C. After all, celebrities are much like us (except they know alot more people are watching them).

I think this thread is largely supportive (again, NPI ;)), but it did get off track there for a moment. I think you just have to bear in mind that we are all at different points in our personal evolution :innocent:

I also liked what kimkhuu said, about

beauty comes from inside.. not from the size of your boobs! :flower:

I thought, yeah, that would be a pretty funny place for beauty to come from, wouldn't it? ;)

say it loud:

I am not my boobs!

even my bf has told me he'd like if they were bigger:rolleyes: , I think sometimes a fashionable ideal (which can be more or less feminine depending on the period) is to impress women whereas an idealized, hyper-feminine body is more impressive to men, and maybe that's why the nature of this forum is skewed because it's kind of a small-boob moment in fashion these days... because it's a fashion forum... sorry if I generalize a bit, bear with me...
To what extent does fashion apply to a physical body? When boobs became a commodity one could acquire? Women have been padding or flattening their boobs as fashion warranted for hundreds of years...

started sprouting at 8yrs old - got excited thought i'd get nice juicy ones.. didn't:rolleyes: b/c stopped at 13 - didn't 'blossom' further after that.

grew to like what i've got b/c:
- never have to wear a bra - but have to get creative to cover me nips when wearing tees.
- at 33 haven't been wallloped by gravity yet...so i'm small - but have pretty nicely shaped 'boobettes'.

i do think 1-2 sizes larger for me would be great
b/c would balance out my hips... and hey ho - having juicy looking boobs would be nice 4 me...
but i wouldn't want to sacrifice the benefits of not having to wear bras ever.

IF there were a way to get safe implants, i'd probably get them when i'm much older and have to wear a bra anyway and my tummy'd be bigger, so i'd probably want more cleavage to balance out.

btw: i'm SO GLAD previous posters admitted they look at larger breasts too.. for some reason - my eyes just go there - i find larger breasts beautiful and fascinating.. in a good way.. i think the person looks good and it's just lovely. Sorta like looking at a different beautiful feature like: a lovely nose/lips/eyes/bum/legs. i'm definitely het but i'm glad can appreciate a woman's beauty for the sake of it.

I have to agree... that from a fashion standpoint, sometimes I wish my breasts were smaller (I linger around a 34 B to C). But sometimes I really love them... I love how they look in my bras. There are pros and cons to breasts, believe me!

also from the 60's one of my favorite directors...
russ Meyers.
Meyers was a lover of not only large but huuuuuuuge breasts.
I love his movies for a varity of reasons (not only the boobs).
one of his most popular was 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'

heres a still from the movie.

DD's here... and I totally agree with Hanne... shirts are a real b*tch to find. :(

Yup! I agree w/ ya here. I'm 16 years old and I'm a DD... I was in a D by 7th grade. At first I thought it was because I was sort of chubby, but I lost some of the weight and they're still here!

maybe i'm weird

I don't like my boobs. To me they are too big. I used to be a 34B and in the past year and a half I have shot up to a 38C. I'm a bit heavier than I used to be. Everyone talks about how nice I look with them but personally I don't like em. I miss being smaller.

I dont want to offend anyone but Fabulyss, the reason most of the people in this thread say that bigger boobs are tacky are lets just say ahmm flat chested themselves so they feel the need to defend their body shape...as far as celebrities go comon lets face it celebrities with big boobs are alwayz considered hot by both men and women for example Angelina Jolie, Marlyn Monroe, and jennifer aniston...and also even in sports, btw the reason anna kournikova is so popular all over the world is not really because of the way she plays tennis:p .So i guess it comes down to this: Big Boobs are hot but sadly not every woman has them, so some feel the need to blast those who do have bigger boobs :innocent:

 me too  my sister makes such a big deal about mine getting bigger... she always makes me wear push up bras... i hate it... wish i was flat

I'm a D cup and I love it :D I think they balance me out well...

I just hate the unwanted attention I get sometimes from men who thinks I don't notice when they stare

celebs are NOT the end all of everything. Yes big boobs are hot. Ok cool. Yea!
But small boobs are hot too.....right?
This thread continues to dwell on which is better.
d-uh.
my dear tfser... There are so many other ways that this thread could be explored and expressd.
hmmm... let me count the ways.....

 goosemaster I have missed your presence on this board.

I used to be fixated on big breasts on women...like they had to be a must in order for me to find the women attractive. Lately I've been growing out of it and realizing, as Kimkhuu said, that inner beauty is what determines how attractive a person is, as if they're good, happy people it will naturally radiate from them into their appearance.

duuuude if you like big boooobs.
then go it. Granted that they are good and happy.

hmmm. I think I like any size.
but yes I agree with you fully (no pun intended).

AMEN!

There is an argument for both sides for sure. I always thought Kate Hudson had an awesome body and she is rather small. ;)

agree goose..

apparantly its in part to do with how men perceive how reproductive women are since boobs are for nursing children..

i wonder how much of that is socialization though

this thread is too funny....

boobs are hot!!!!!

My boobs have "shrunken" back to a D 32 / 70 Hallelujah !! ( E 36/ 80 was not fun! :ninja: )

I need to get my 'boobs' measured. I buy 34AA. But my friend who looks like she has a broader back than me is a 32C. Maybe I buy the wrong bra size. I have to wear a padded t-shirt bra so that my clothes hang properly. I hate wearing a non padded bra now...it makes me feel nervous incase someone bumps me and it hurts.....

Congrats Hanne!!!

Thank you Helena !!!

If you go down to 32 from 34 try selecting a 32 A instead of a 32 AA and see how that fits Helena because when the number decreases the cup will be smaller :flower:
