Book Challenge 2013

I'm also aiming for 30 books this year. That was my goal last year and it was definitely reasonable. Good luck everyone! :flower:

I kind of lost the habit of reading for pleasure ever since I finished university (too much "forced" reading!), but it's something I need to get back into. Especially since I seem to keep buying books.

I'm aiming for 20.

I somehow finished my first book in one day. Guess that's what happens when you have New Year's day off work

1. Dare Truth or Promise by Paula Boock

Currently reading: Ask the Passengers by A.S. King

01: What I Did by Christopher Walking
02: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Let me know what you think of Gone Girl!
I just saw that Mint Condish recommended it in the book review thread and I've been feeling more and more inclined to read it.

(I hope it´s ok to post this)
A p2p link to download 100 ebooks in pdf or epub format. Lots of classics, from different genres :)
There are lots of classic english literature that I´ve never read, so that´s my goal... also read more argentine classics that I read in highschool but hardly remember.

2. Ask the Passengers by A.S. King

I'll be aiming for 15-20 books this year, since now i bought an e-reader, i can more easily try to achieve this number... since last 2 years i've been having a lot of progress in terms of reading.

I am so excited :woot: Let the game begins...

1. Our Best Last Chance by King Abdullah of Jordan
2. Leap of Faith: Memoirs of An Unexpected Life by Queen Noor of Jordan

1)The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries, The Asylum based on the novels by L.J. Smith
2)The Skins Novel by Ali Cronin

My goal this year will be to FINISH at least 20 books. I only finished like two last year, but I started at least 25 and purchased over 200. Dog gone it I'm gonna finish 20 books this year if it's the last thing I do!!

My goal is to read at least 12, one per month. Between the movie challenge and all the tv shows I watch, I think that´s a reasonable amount I can accomplished... as opposed to the 5 I read last year :/

Just the year I finally decided to take part in the 50 books challenge it's gone! I like the change though, I think it's a great idea to have a thread where people can set their own challenge.
I'll try to read 30 books in 2013. I'm about to start La vérité sur l'affaire Harry Quebert by Joël Dicker.

1.) The New York Trilogy - Paul Auster
2.) Grace: A Memoir - Grace Coddington (currently reading)

last year I finished a total of 24 books, so my challenge this year is to read 30 B)

1. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
2. On the Road by Jack Kerouac

Currently reading: Candide - Voltaire & The Perks of Being a Wallflower Stephen Chbosky

i think i should jump on this wagon, i haven't read any single book this year... but i can start now

Let's begin, God bless me and my books :lol:

1. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn - I've left a very very brief review in review thread. I thought it would be different, what a finale. :ninja: :o

Curently reading:
The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf

I decided to have a different challenge this year. Besides regular reads, once a month I'll be randomly (withe the help of random.org) choosing a book from my to read list and read it. I just feel like a need something new and besides that, my TBR list is HUGE and I never get to the point when I actually start reading books from there.
