^^ I love nonfiction! I recommend Wild Swans by Jung Chang and Stolen Lives by Malika Oufkir, two biographies that made quite an impression on me in 2012. These 2 philosophy books aswell: Justice by Michael Sandel and The Conquest of Happiness by Bertrand Russell.

Fantomette, how is 1Q84? I've been interested in the book, but its so big! I've seen film adaptations of that authors works and its always good.

I only read 100 pages so far. I was totally unfamiliar with this author and put one of his old novel on my Christmas list to discover his work but my mum offered me the whole 1Q84 trilogy!
I was afraid it would be a complicated start but the writing style is simple and clear therefore I feel that if the reader like the universe of the author the number of pages won't be too much of a problem. I have yet to really discover what the story is about.

I'll recommend Where'd You Go, Bernadette (funny and original) and Tell the Wolves I'm Home (contrary to what it seems it's not a depressing book).
