Bottega Veneta F/W 2020.21 Milan

Definitely they are after the it bag markets but who couldn't blame him when the accessories game is this strong. Clothes wise I like this more than his first main collection. Maybe it comes from a real focus, sense of ease and styling. But looks more comfortable than last collection.

He needs and he will find his voice. He has the vision and some good ideas. His vision and his taste will get sharper with time. Give him time.
In one year, he has been more convincing than Clare at Givenchy or Virginie at Chanel. At least, he knows what he is doing and is conscious about the house he is designing for...

I think he’s showing a lot of potential. The shapes are directional and aspirational. my issue is with the colors, I find this green vile. I also think that these heavy shapes on the feet don’t work, a lighter more elegant touch would elevate his work. But it’s a styling thing I understand why he does it.

The menswear is fantastic, no wonder it opened and closed the show (please give us a solo show Daniel!)

A strong show, way better than last season. Desirable, interesting and fleshly luxurious.

When I see this collection, I keep thinking "Oh, that's what you design for Celine." LOL
I've checked his MA collection and looks like his aesthetic is there.
I like his texture of the clothes, the buttons details and the bags .

Does anyone know the music that was played in the show by any chance? I can't find the information anywhere!

BOTTEGA VENETA

It's a duet composed by Patrick Belaga (cellist) and duetted with Kai Kight (violinist)

I believe this is one of the pieces but he's got quite a few others in the playlist
