Bottega Veneta F/W 2022.23 Milan

It's very standard Daniel Lee. I don't want to say too much because they might change it at the last minute just like they did last season (Resort 2022). For that collection there was some drama (!) with the prints and they had to be changed at the last minute.

Could you elaborate on the Resort 2022 prints that had to be changed at the last minute?

What's the story here? Was there controversy with the patterns?

I don’t want to get anybody from Merchandising HQ in trouble so I can’t say too much but basically the prints were quite different to what they are now. They were like these cartoon characters or something.

They were changed last minute at production obviously and with no explanation? So strange…

Yep I kept hearing about these “ghost prints” so was a bit baffled when I saw them. That said, now that I’ve tried some of the stuff in, I must admit I really enjoy Wardrobe 03. I’ve always liked Lee’s pre-collections more than the runway ones.
