By the way this is the typical CK from Costa:structured shapes,neutral colors,bold coats,it seems we're seeing the same thing over and over again

SO true. Sometimes it seems like Ghesquiere is viewed as the only authentic designer on earth...

It's great for basic, but sometimes Calvin Klein just feels too basic. The details and concept are fabulous, sure, but I do think one can't discount that feeling you get that first split second you see a dress come down the runway.

i have a deja-vu feeling but i don't mind. i love the coats that costa designs every winter.

this is a shot of pure calvin klein. francisco has shown some of his minimalist best in this collection. one cannot overstate his level of restraint here while creating new forms and interesting cuts. ghequiere couldn't design something this spartan and minimal if he tried.

CK's past seasons delivered intricate construction and ideas even as Francisco kept true to the same minimal aesthetic. I find that lacking in this collection - there just isn't the same depth of design.

The jackets and coats are nice. The dresses were nice with their details and all, but kind of boring. Also I am reminded very much of Raf in the sleeves.

Finally I got time to go through NY collections on style.com. Pure Calvin Klein again, very ascetic, but it`s one of the reasons I admire Costa`s design. Am I the only one not liking the blue? Definitely strong collection, though I wasn:t very fond to sloppy coats.

Calvin Klein is back to basics. He does simple, clean lines better than most. I don't think of him as a showman, so the fact its a bit boring doesn't bother me. It's a very wearable collection that's quite lovely.
