Caroline Sieber Heads to Palm Beach and Mustique

It’s the beginning of my holiday trip, and I am in Palm Beach, where I am staying with friends over New Year’s Eve. The scene in this image reminds me of a Slim Aarons photograph.

Now I’m on Macaroni beach on the island of Mustique. We had a picnic here and later went for a swim in the wonderfully hot sea.


This is the pier by the Cotton House’s beach. I'm with my boyfriend, Fritz.

The house we stayed at on Mustique is called “Aurora,” and it is one of the loveliest on the island. I’m wearing one of my Hermès scarves—I always pack a few for beach holidays and use them as headbands and tops

Caroline was raised between Vienna and Tyrol and came to London to be an accountant. She decieded to become a stylist instead and currently dates banker Fritz von Westenholz. Anna Wintour apparently spotted her at the wedding of Arthur Mornington and Jemma Kidd and put her on the committee for the Costume Institute Gala in 2005. She and Selma Blair were the only two people who Karl Lagerfeld allowed to wear Chanel to the event. The magazines say that she never wears the same thing twice and likes Krispy Kreme Doughnuts from the counter at Harrods.
