You know what I noticed? I don't think any major female celeb wore Gucci and I didn't see Frida. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I was sure someone would wear one of those gorgeous black dresses from the last collection.

Karolina Kurkova - literally took my breath away. definition of supermodel goddess. and obviously i'll love her whatever she wears, cause she's my favourite -- but sometimes ya gotta just give credit where it's due. this is one of the most utterly spectacular and dramatic looks i've ever seen on her and she rocked the hell out of it. so much glamour it's insane.

just try and imagine the sheer impact of seeing her walk that red carpet in person. it's outrageous.

This year seems to have more misses than hits. Some of the worst looks I've ever seen, Beyonce, Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst etc.

But I'm happy to see few amazing looks also!

About Florence Welsh's look, I think she's one of the few persons on earth that can pull off a crazy look like that. It's very Florence-ish and I think it's nice she's ready to experience with clothes. On anyone else the dress would have looked like a clown costume.

The people who wore Prada were among the worst-dressed. I'm not at all surprised by that.

Woah Beyonce literally stole the show in a bad or good way depending on who you ask! She looked beautiful though. Chanel Iman also looked sexy, i expected a disaster after reading the reviews, IMO the poorly dressed of the night are the ones that didnt make that much of an effort like Emma Roberts. The Costume institute Gala is a chance to express the character of the designer you are wearing. I also hated what Tory Butch was wearing

There were so many safe dresses this year, with a few shockers thrown in the mix. What a snoozefest. I hate what the MET ball has become.
