caro and her bf appeared on one of tatler's (yeah, i know, tatler...cringe) most invited lists recently, and in the description it said they would attend the opening of an envelope. i think the mag was trying to say that the couple was highly ubiquitous, but it came out sounding terrible, and making them sound desperate. how embarrasing.

I used to be obsessed with that publication and so ashamed of it. That magazine is the publishing equivalent of a shame f***.

Anyway, she is very social but her social life is reflective of the circles she works/lives in: she attends fashion shows because she is a stylist, upper-class/country parties because her boyfriend is a toff and art parties because that's were the more interesting people are.
She never comes off as fame-wh**ish or desperate to me.

^ tatler is total trash. the kind of articles that appear in it are so disgusting and shameful and and go show that some people definately have way too much money and not enough sense, and often they think only of themselves and persuing their own pleasure.

caroline's profile is definately on the up. I see more and more of her in mags like vogue and on best dressed lists. I'm still a little confused as to what she does for a living. does she have a full time job or do her parents help her out?

^she is a stylist. Emma Watson is one of her clients. Of course her parent are very wealthy so she has the clothing allowance and the lifestyle of a millionaire but she still does something productive with her time.

Re: Tatler, it would not be so bad if they hired people would could write. The journalistic standards are so abysmal that even when they are trying to write a sympathetic portrait they end up making you hate the person profiled.
