I don't like celebs who model. there's only few I personally like; Vanessa Paradis for Coco Mademoiselle,Mena Suvari for Lancôme and the Marc Jacobs ads.all the others (esp. those selling make up products and Louis Vuitton) seem tacky and plastic. for example, when I think of Revlon, it's " the make up line that has Julianne Moore, Eva Mendes and Kate Bosworth as spokesmodels". it's more like selling the celebrity than selling the product. Models do a better job, and aren't so well-known. jennifer Lopez is Jennifer Lopez, without Vuitton ads or not.

They are, I'm not a fan of them either. But also seen somepretty trashy ads with models in them, so it's not just a celebrity thing.

Why is it that fashion is loving the hollywood celebs and ditching this generations models!?! Leave the actresses to the silver screen and not the glossy pages of magazines. And for the record as much as I love and respect Madonna she just ain't doing it for me in those Versace ads! Most fashion brands should take a lesson fron Estee Lauder and make models like Liya Kebede their spokespersons.
