Celine F/W 2026.27 Paris

Its nice, wearable… but at the same time doesn’t move the wheel of fashion forward in ANY way.
This should be the minimum from a brand. The fact we all applaud it is only because we’ve seen the Loewe horros by the Proenza clowns, or JW’s senseless and ugly burn out at Dior, or no-words for the new Givenchy disaster….

It's a nice collection, a decent one. I like how he mildly pulls out the stick that has been up Celine's *** due to Phoebe and Hedi. It doesn't seem so unattainable, it feels more welcoming in a way? The focus on accessories is definitely noticeable. I liked the bags and the funny puffer-shoes.

The only problem I have (and it's probs a problem with me) is that I sometimes can't see a clear reference in Celine's collection. But maybe I am just uneducated!

I would venture to guess he's reconnected with something you'd think no one could ever connect with cause it was nothing: Menichetti's era haha that was so so welcoming as in 'aw... I'm good thanks'.

I can't believe they posted the pictures with this hideous filter on it

WOW. Bravo Michael !

So far, this collection is the best of this whole fashion week. Everything is soft, easy, nonchalant, sophisticated.
And it's REAL. You can project yourself immediately wearing those looks. The styling is super smart. It makes you want to elevate simple items with no arrogance.
And this is just about the clothes.
Beautiful soundtrack with songs I never heard before, great set design which is not fussy, love the subtle filtre on the video.

10/10.

Very Diane Keaton styled for Mastermind magazine

He’s given up on LVMh’s prescribed prep angle and it’s much cleaner and more confident for that.

The men’s is quite handsome and would look great on someone like Freja, but it’s noticeably younger in spirit like a mother-son vibe.

Brian Molloy’s styling is just so easy to the eyes: The Row, Issey Miyake, Tory Burch and now this.
I like Brian Molloy, but they let him go after the debut collection and didn’t replace him with anyone.

A fashionable and slightly elevated heyday Banana Republic. I say that because I like B.R, that means it’s a good collection (in my top 7 this season so far).

@Zorka has their work cut out for them...

Some people appear to have a very strange idea of which filters enhance a photograph and which simply undermine the subject. The most unfortunate part, however, is when filters are applied where there is absolutely no need for them! 😔

How bad the fashion industry is that most of tfsers are seeing this as a masterpiece

It’s not bad, it’s actually desirable but COS desirable iykwim. Very Phoebe but less bulky, which is good. If we need to have a Phoebe look alike, this is actually the best one. But let’s not pretend we are witnessing the work of a fashion genius pls.

HQ 2.0:

I corrected the white balance and contrast in Photoshop, but the halftone pattern is still noticeable. There are ways to hide it, of course, though they're tedious and time-consuming - and hardly justified in this case.

I'm pretty sure that most of us are just grateful that the blacks are actually blacking now.

I have been pretty indifferent to Rider's output for Céline so far, but this was a strong collection all in all. Very American in Paris as many has said. One that felt like it nicely aligned with Phoebe's aesthetic for the brand but it wasn't a carbon copy. I like that there were more embellishments and flashes of "fun" compared to his Spring collection. I just don't like the footwear which looked very...unsexy. And the soundtrack was lovely ; I had to look up the Prince track (piano and acoustic version of "17 Days").

It was mentioned above that Brian Molloy isn't styling anymore. Is it someone in house now?
