Central Saint Martins F/W 10.11 London

i sort of gave up on school collections some time ago.. they seemed often very much for show, but this -wow,,i think it's really CSM's best after so many seasons ! each designer's so distinct, every collection is very focused and refined, just one clear idea and they gave it all they had.. much more fashion/technic and concept forward than i've ever seen. (although some, it's too obvious what may have inspired by them.. jil (><) yikes.. i wish this graduate didn't do it so soon?) anyway i'd be very interested to see much of this influence the future coming seasons

Thanks for all those pics. I thought it was a good show, and I loved some of the ideas. I hated some of them, too. I thought every designer's collection was focused, but often it bordered on repetative. So yeah, a complete mix - hard to pick a favourite.

its all interesting, but nothing is original
going through every one of these is like going through
a past collection of someone else

There are some beautiful designs in this show, and a lot of the simpler pieces that may be seen as my taste, though I actually think they are verging on too plain.
Adam Andrascik has intrigued me with his peeling paint clothes on organza - it's an extremely interesting way of using fabrics. I love what Tse Goh has shown also, with very simple folds in fabric to create shape.
A really good collection from CSM.

thanks for posting the designers names, i couldn't find them
I loved most of the designers, one of the best in a few seasons

imo, most of these are very good !!! very very good !!!!
though, it still smells the trends of past seasons, there are potentials !

how stupid style.com is not to credit these young designers !
very stupid !
so thanks gius

Very interesting... I would love to see detail shots!!!

Thank you for posting.

For me I expected something more than this....But I love a few of them and how they develope a single idea into a whole collection....but this is not the best CSM show and not an interesting show for me. I'm sure they have talents, but just not my type.
For my opinion, RCA, Antwerp, La Cambre could have done better.

Matthew Harding's pieces are incredible!

Not that impressed to be honest. I expected muuuuch more from somewhere like CSM - in my opinion last years grad collection at my local university was miles better. I don't really see much individuality/creativity here...

Eh, I am not really interested by any of this other than Lilly Heine's showing.
These collections sit in the limbo of not being wearable, which is fine, but if it isn't wearable it should at least be thoughtful in regards to the design and give that fantasy factor but these kinda seem like the students trying to prove their creativity without be thoughtful and making things that are relevant and interesting.

I'm missing 3 designers..
(1)
(2)
(3)
