Always loved this collection! I feel it's a bit underrated because it doesn't look like anything out of the ordinary (for Karl) at first glance but each look quickly grows on you and past trends, it's been more than 20 years and most of it doesn't really look dated.

Nicole Kidman wore one of my favorite numbers, she looked amazing when promoting The Others, towering over everyone, often in black Chanel and with her red hair. 🖤

Untouchable!
From the clothes to the vibe la fete soundtrack, an all time favorite of mine.
This is the collection in which I would dream to start my Chanel HC journey with.

Weirdly Karl is not really known for pants but this is a fabulous lesson.
I love those variations around a theme or silhouette. He did the skirts the season before, he would do the shorts later.

The cut is so sharp but timeless!
Heavenly! I love the double breasted blazers, the knockout look on Kristen Owen, the coats, the capes, the little detail that is the removable cuffs…
A quite subtle collection from Karl. Very him but at the same time, very Chanel as usual.
