*** no model talk, please**

Anyway, the lovely black dresses in between the start and the finale were the best for me, although there were a few pieces Karl tossed in which look absolutely hideous. The makeup was lovely too! And that opening look was UH-MAZING!

the set is so beautiful that it makes you forget that the clothes themselves are boring...

I surprisingly like quite a lot of this. Some pieces are quite unattractive, not to mention the shoes which are really awful, but some look like the good, old Chanel. Love the few black, feathered look in the end, and that mauve feather dress on Carmen is simply amazing!

wow im dying so many amazing pieces:woot:, so excited to see the full thing, I loved last spring but I think this tops it!

The venue looks like the Gardens of Versailles. The collection itself looks very Chanel but done with a modern twist.

Very nice!! Does anyone else get a very couture feeling from this collection? I think half of these pieces would fit just fine into one of his HC shows..!^_^ Which should only help sales (as if they can keep up with the orders already...)- Couture look at Ready to Wear prices!! :D

I just HATE the tweed in his collections but everything else looks so amazing. I am impressed.

The shoes are terrible...except for the tweed boots, of course!

Some clothes are great, some clothes are really bad,
Why jeans Karl, WHY????????!!!!!

Ahh, seriously, what else can I say?
I was at school during the collection being uploaded on nowfashion and I couldn't wait for the little break between classes to check it out. I knew it'd be fantastic as I saw the Versailles garden runway before class.
And well, I literally screamed in ecstasy. I.Was.In.Heaven.
I really, truly adore the pieces, those feathered dresses are simply.. divine. And the runway, the hair, the makeup.. it was all beyond amazing. The only thing I really disliked were the shoes, I felt they were too ugly and heavy for this.
But in a fantastic collection like this, a little detail like the shoes literally melts.
