^i agree after last years lovely campaign this is even more of a snore, he should stuck to the underwater theme of the show, hope the other ones are more exciting.

Thumbs up for the concept, I like the retro / Chariots of Fire vibe. I really like the duo picture mainly because of Joan, she looks both effortless and strong, Saskia looks a little tense and she has lost her neck, which normally does not bother me, but it takes away from some of the ease of the overall image. Saskia is less tense in the second image, or is tense in the right way, but overall that image is an over-styled mess - IMO the image would have been very good / great had a simpler ensemble been selected.

I haven't seen a remarkable Chanel campaign for quite a long time and it's no exception. On the other hand, I like the images, they're really nice.

I like it except Joan looks like an old lady, as usual. I'd love it if it were Freja and Saskia.
Freja's profile and her hair blowing in the wind could have saved this.

The styling sucks, not just the socks and sandals but everything about the styling... absolutely frumpy and gross.

The first shot is SO elegant......I love that they are in the same position, their feet so poised....However Saskia looks like she is severely struggling in the 2nd one....:S

I quite like this at this point, but need to see more for final judgement.
At least it's so much better then last seasons. Also it's nice to see other girls then Freja for Chanel > so fresh!

Personally I like the first picture, the second is.. IDK, i don't like so much. I'm so happy to see Joan and Saskia in campaign, but i'm still missing Freja!

Its okay, don't get me wrong. Burly I feel the group shot is a little awkward. Not to mention I detest Joan Smalls, but I understand she was cast because of all the crap Karl was getting for was not using black models in a few seasons. I was just hoping for more color and more whimsy. And I hate to admit it, but I miss Freja. I feel it's not a Chanel campaign without her. And saskia, freja and Stella would have been amazing together.

I love asymmetry on the first pic, it's very vintage Chanel. But I still hate the fact that he chose my two least favorite models.

The models are doing a good job (I still prefer Freja) but the styling is just bad. I hope it gets better when the next 30 pictures of the campaign are released.
