Chaos SixtyNine #5 2020 : 'The Chanel Issue'

I don’t find anything special on Kendall’s cover. Vittoria completely outshined bella on their duo shots, she seems to copy and paste the same expression on every single editorial and the makeup is not doing a big favor neither

gigi’s rooftop editorial is about to be released, let’s see how it looks even though paps caught it on the making

I’m actually in shock for once I actually like something from Chaos, sadly though the Cass Bird covers aren’t working for me but I love Adut,Vitto, and Bella’s covers by Luigi&Iango and I’m shocked that I actually prefer Bella in her and Vitto’s duo,I like her smoldering sensual look more

Kourtneyendall owns the best cover, Bella can’t move her face just like her forehead, and Gigi...I don’t want to comment.

Katie Grand must have sleepless nights over these covers, lol! All her pet models, doing above average work.

In an era where fashion brand placement is already so 'in your face', this magazine chose to take it to ridiculous lengths. It's downright vulgar. But it will sell to the type of consumer that is all about logos. If Carlyne is involved then she's slipping because most of the previews lack her trademark 'tongue in the cheek' styling.

I can tolerate all of the covers except the ones featuring Fran and Natasha. Kendall is good, definitely Mona.
How on earth did they manage this budget though? Looking at the casting, Chanel probably paid for everything.

So apparently they changed Mona’s cover or did a mistake by releasing it? Mona posted the first cover yesterday (colored one), by Cass Bird, but today she deleted it and posted the second one by Luigi&Iango. But on the website they are selling only the one shoot by Cass Bird... anyone knows what it’s going in?

I love Chanel and Karl obviously but I don’t find anything iconic about it.
I’ll always compare it to the VP issue around Chanel unfortunately but this lacks in energy and desire to create something groundbreaking.
To have access to the archives, to be able to have such an « A-list » (by today’s standard) and to still deliver a lackluster issue is puzzling.

Sure they paid for it. And I’m sure it wasn’t difficult. Charlotte was Karl’s collaborator, I recognize the FW1999 Couture cape...

Considering the ressources, this is a miss.

Some covers are flawless & other are weak. Surprise than Jenner looks good, not dull this time (one of her best works) even though i don’t like it her modeling career & the Natasha's photos reminds me an editorial from Vogue Paris August 2009, when she & Anja Rubik were photographed by Terry Richardson. The other eds by Luigi & Iango are a beautiful fashion spreads (except the Bella's shots because she's trying to be the new Carla Bruni & her poses are a little bit forced).
