Charlene Wittstock, Princess of Monaco

I think much of this is so unfair..she is a beautiful young woman by any standard; she would be a standout in any area of High Society- Houston, NY, Chicago...The fact that she and Kate Middleton will spend their entire lives being meaninglessly compared to their spouses mother strikes me as very unfair...Just my two cents on the matter....:(

Princess Stephanie of Monaco, President of the association ' Fight Aids Monaco' and Charlene Wittstock pose during the annual charity auction sale at the Sea Club Meridien hotel in Monte-Carlo, MONACO- 1/12/10.

She looks elegant and I love her bag...What is amazing imo,is that Charlene is more similar to Grace in all, than her daughters Caroline and Stephanie.

I like the suit on Charlene, but the shoulder pads are a big no-no for her. And, the jacket is too snug around her upper shoulders as well. Her hairstyle... no. Just no.

Other than that she looks nice. :flower:

^ I like her like this the best, natural and acting like a normal person. Not putting on airs or trying to be something she is not which, imo is the glamorous/drenched in jewels/ botoxed/over the top gown wearing Charlene. She is trying to be something she is not. Just because you will be a Serene Highness doesnt mean you have to change drastically in apperance and additude. Many crown princesses have transitioned with dignity and aplomb such as Queen Rania, Princess Letizia, Princess Mette-Marit...
If Charlene will just be herself and forget the over the top outfits, makeup and uppity facial expressions she will get much more credit in my book.

How long do you plan on holding your breath, Ash? :D

Tonight, Charlene and Albert attended the Sport and Peace dinner in Monaco. Again Charlene looks nice in this long black dress designed by somebody with talent. ;) Her make-up looks nice and soft. The hairstyle looks lovely.

Not long Persephone ;) I don't expect Charlene to changer her ways, although
I wish she would. I have to admit she does look nice in these pics you posted.
She looks sophisticated and elegant with the natural makeup and black dress.
I think she's on the right track here...but hey, tomorrow is another day:lol:

The day of National Feast at Monaco:

An interview with Charlene:

WOW, that interview was horrible. I found Charlene very rude with those underhanded comments and her aloofness. And I wouldn't pass that off as
nervousness either...the interviewer was very pleasant to her, there was no excuse for that. And I actually felt sorry for Albert! He was trying to help her and she seemed to just turn on him too. I feel for ya Monaco:unsure:....

I dislike this black dress,is so unflattering imo...:angry:I dislike the form...

^ Nice, understated outfit. It seems like someone is advising her on how to dress more appropriately for events or they're trying to do damage control for that horrible Tatler editorial.

Love the white coat with the black turtleneck.

You see! She is developing her own style... finally!:flower:
