love the Hq's, the mirrored pieces are so exquisite, I would buy them all if I could, and I like alot of the prints he used, but its going to take me some time to get used to the new direction cause I quite like what Phoebe did for Chloe.

Does anyone know if Mr Andersson designs the fabrics too? (ie prints, beads, embroidery etc)
It seems usually they have different designers for that. I read even Dries van Noten doesn't always design his fabrics
According to Sarah Mower's review on the collection it kind of sounds like it. I love the names for the surface embellishments... "Secret Garden" trees and "murder scene" streak prints, "Magpie" jewelled embroidery and "mushy pea" green

I loved chloe the last few seasons but I dont really like any of this, except those those ankle boots with the slits. I must get a pair of those!

You know, with time and time, I learned to digest this collection...
and if you check chloe.com, they have the fall collection as they are going to the stores...
I still think there's a prettiness that now is lacking, I loved some of the outfits, but there are too many Prada references, like ugly beauty, and I hate that, there are other brands to dress like that...
And the chose Marina Perez for the catalogue of chloe.com, which has a sick look in her eyes, and Chloe was all about naughty and sexy, and flirty
I'm really sad...I hope chloe goes back to what it used to be...come on first gucci and now chloe? are they taking all our favourites brands?

what did you mean by pre-fall... all of the collections before the fall one or like a resort collection ? where did you read that, luckyme
That's really interesting info Luckyme! For ref, in Chloe-land the pre-fall collection is actually known as Automne (or Autumn in english!),
I very nearly bought a jacket from this new collection but was turned off by the quality of the fabrics they have used this time. Lined with a crunchy polyester and the wool/silk loose tweed outer material looked as if it was already piling, the jacket was priced at approx 1400 and in reality looked like something Zara could pull off for 149 Euros or less!
While I like the new Chloe aesthetic of pared down modern feminity, they really need to pay attention to the fabrics they are using to keep me a customer. The prices seem so high for very basic designs in second rate fabrics.

^ I checked out that blog and I don't know. Ususally I am giddy about Chloe especially once I see them in a store setting but is seems a little displaced. I see some cuts that I think "Chloe", but then I see other things, the skirt, the bat sleeve dress, the ill fitting black pants and I am just not wowed.
